Hilly Billy land, what the heck is the COVE? YOU need a bunch of Red around the collar to be able to get in!! Believe me, I learned more away from here than when I was in the COVE!

When you say that PSU's WR corps are the weak link, that might be true. But it might not be a bad thing that the wr's are inexperienced. I mean it can't get much worse than last year. When you have Tony Johnson, a very experienced reciever who probably was looking to go pro before the year began, doesn't play as a leader and underachieves, maybe that helps some of the younger recievers step up. I mean they might not have a lot of catches, but they did play a lot because that was one position that PSU wasn't afraid to use a lot of players at. So personally, I'm not really worried about the wr position because how much worse can they get. I will agree that the coaching staff is another point of concern, but it's not Joe. The assistant coaching staff has gone downhill since 94, and Galen Hall coming in for Fran Ganter is a good thing. But this message doesn't prove anything until the games start.

The WR's that saw the bulk of the time were T. Johnson and Mo Humphrey....BOTH not with the team anymore.

Guys played, but not very much at all...

Galen Hall coming in for Gatner is a good thing?? There is only one good thing that can happen and that is Paterno resigining for the sake of the program. Hall likes to run some sorta wide open things but Coach Paterno will not let that happen in my opinion.

Johnson and Humphrey had 32 and 30 catches respectively last year. Steve Breaston had 38 playing as the 4th reciever at Michigan as a Frosh. So really, the PSU wrs on the bench weren't missing much experience. Gerald Smith ended up as a starter at the end of the year. A reason why Galen Hall is a good thing. Ganter doesn't call PSU's passing plays, Jay Paterno does. So look no further for a reason for PSU's passing woes. With this open offense, Hall will be calling more passing plays. Therefore PSU might be able to get rid of Jay's passing offense.

"No brothers". I tell them, "We weren't very fast either". Tell you what. Parcells makes that remark and he offends an entire race of people!!
