Ridge vs. the Playoffs

Ridge would be good if they played the schedule they did against all A teams!! They would WIN District 5 Class A but not AA!!

No they wouldn't, they would lose to either Berlin or Bellwood. Ridge's best chance of winning is playing, well, with themselves two fridays from now. That's the only team they could 'beat'. If the playoffs were to start today, Bedford would beat PL, Tyrone would be given its money worth by a tough CC squad, McCort would probably go down to P-O, and Ridge traveling to Sidman would be the begining of winter sports in Fishertown. Somerset could beat Bedford, is it likely to happen, I doubt it, but they still have a chance, if Bedford goes into the game with thoughts of week 10, they won't make it out of week 9 the top dawgs anymore. This won't happen, but there is always the possibility. Either way, if the Wions pway FH or BMc, it will be an ugly beating. They might be able to play with BMc for a half, but not much longer. This week should be interesting with teams jockeying for position in the race for the D 5-6 championship...

Bellwood is District 6 A not 5 A and CR would beat Berlin!! Count on that one!! I agree they will do nothing in the playoffs, one and out for the mighty Ridge team!!

Anything can happen on a football field. If you dont beleive me take a look at this past weeks NFL results.

The last time I checked, pairoty rules in the NFL, with all teams as evenly matched as possible. Things such as salary caps create this. Highschool is not like this, Ridge will lose, they always do.

No salaries in NCAA and Ithink I saw that Sothern Miss. was a 3TD underdog and beat Florida this past weekend so anything can happen. As Chris Berman would say thats why they play the game.

I don't know ham, I think you should give Ridge a chance this year. They have a decent team and a good defense (most of the time). I know they have a history of choking in big game situations, but I don't think that'll happen this year. If they play FH, it probably won't be close so at least they won't choke, they'll just be outplayed. :lol: . No matter what happens though, I'm rooting for the Ridgers.

All i have to say is i wish we would get another chance at ridge, our stupid mistakes cost us that freakin game, believe me we'll never forget it!!!!!!!!!

Yup anything can happen! All teams that make the playoffs because they have won some games. Granted, there are favorites but all teams have a shot.

Yeah you have to play the game for sure!! Ridge is just not good enough to win in the playoffs, heck maybe we are all wrong but that is what I am going to say.
