Bedford played as well as they could. I think they had a great season. They couldn't stop the CC offense. 302 through the air and 168 on the ground isn't going to win too many games. Great game to the both of you and good luck CC against BM next week.

Bedford scored second in OT and had two cracks at the 2 point conversion. They failed from the 3 and the 1.5. CC 35 Bedford 34...

lion-line you need to focus on tonight's game and the regular season means alot. it sets up if you make the playoffs don't get the respect issue mixed up with it.
Regular seasons do not mean anything as we saw with Bedford tonight so who cares if they went undefeated it`s what happens in the playoffs!! NUF SAID!!
Wrong. Do you not have to win so many games in the regular season to make it into the playoffs? Yes...so obviously regular season means a lot, as lionbaseball already said.

You don't like me, wow that hurts.

Hmm, let me see here, two guys who are diehard CC fans have nothing but congratulations and good things to say about Bedford, it takes one idiot who hasn't even played his game yet and another who doesn't like me trying to say things that hurt me and demean me. Well I hate to tell you guys, I wasn't on the field, I was watching from the bleachers, cheering on my team. CC played one heck of a game last night and GURU is right, the numbers that CC put up isn't good for an opposing defense. Bedford had over 300 on the ground but couldnt get one yard when it mattered the most. Does this loss hurt, yes. Will I never root for Bedford again, no. CC deserved this win, they did everything they needed to win, did I not say if Bedford turned the ball over 3 or more times they would lose, and look what happened, 2 fumbles and one int. BTW, if Ridge and CC were to match-up, I would take CC by 30...

There is no way Bedford played as well as they could. The Bisons lost 2 fumbles and gave up an interception. Also, they had 2 missed fieldgoals, a missed PAT, and 2 dropped balls in the endzone. Not exactly a stellar performance by the Bedford squad, and from what I saw in the papers, Mesaros only had around 270 passing yards, not 302.

Yep and so does Ridge. I don't know why people think that I'm done for good now, just because Bedford lost. I'm over it already, I played football yesterday with 3 Bison's of this years team and they had enough gull to come back to the same field and play on the same end that they were beaten on less than 24 hours of thier defeat. Bedford didn't shut down because of a playoff loss, just all the more inspiration for next year...

I can't remember who said it, but it's a quote from a while ago...

I wouldn't expect anything less...

What did Bedford try to run//pass during the 2 point conversion attempt?

Also, why not try to kick the extra point to send it into the next overtime? Is it because Bedford could not stop the CC offense? Maybe neither defense could stop the other offense.

They ran the same play that they scored on 4th down in overtime, just the opposite direction. A sprint out pass/run option for Troy, they defensed it, and got a holding call. They then ran midline and Troy gave the ball off to Mike Young, and we all know the result of that.

Why not try the kick, Kyler Ford had missed 2 fieldgoals and one extra point early in the game when there was little to no pressure at the time. Neither defense could have stopped the offense, it's easy now to say that they should have kicked, and got to the 3rd overtime to then have to go to the 2-point, but I think Swaim made the right call on the play and it was gutsy. If he makes it, Bedford wins and Swaims looks like a genious, you know the other result...
