ok, so bedford has more sports than ridge...but throw away those extra sports and bedford still did better on average than ridge did...even head to head...how many head to head games did ridge win against bedford in all sports? i dont know the exact number, but i garuantee you its ALOT less than those won by the bisons.

Seriously, Bedford probably got ripped.
But why is it when Ridge complains of an injustice, it's whining or making excuses. You Bedford guys are doing the same thing. You can't have it both ways. One could say that if you would've won a playoff football game, or beat Ridge in wrestling, you would've got it. But you didn't. So quit crying about it.

I'll openly admit that what I was doing was whining, however, I find it hard to believe that I made excuses. Never did I give a reason why Bedford didn't win the county cup. That's because I wholeheartedly feel that it was an injustice. I was trying to state the injustice and defend my case while complaining about an ill-conceived system.
Again, though, nothing can be done now (with the exception of creating my own, better thought out award for the top county school, which would undoubtedly go to Bedford year in and year out because of my extreme bias). Congrats goes to CR-- technically the most successful school in the county.

Well if we are comparing Bedford and Ridge and who had more succesful teams I could do that right now.
In the fall Bedford was better at Football, Girls/Boys soccer, split on girls/boys XC, Bedford at golf while Ridge had Bedford in girl's tennis and i'm not sure about volleyball we'll say Ridge had them but correct me if i'm wrong there. So in the fall Bedford is up 5 to Ridge's 3.
In the winter Bedford was better in boys and girls hoops while Ridge topped in wrestling so Bedford wins there 2 to 1.
Finally, in the spring, Bedford won in baseball while Ridge took softball. Bedford boys took track and once again i'm not positive but I'm thinking girls did too. So that leaves it Bedford 3 and Ridge 1 in the spring.
Overall, Bedford was better then Ridge in 10 sports while Ridge was only better then Bedford in 5. If Bedford would have won a playoff game during football season however, we wouldn't be having this discussion right now it would have been pretty unanimous.
Just another way to look at it to keep people thinking but congrats to Ridge for another county cup.

I think the whole "whining" comeback is pretty stupid. This whole idea behind a forum is to discuss, complain, and talk about every aspect of sports. That's whats going on. One person expresses there opinion other people express there's..
Why doesn't someone post the actually country cup statistics so we can judge of them...
