lack of coaching
the reason for that is that every close game ridge has like bellwood they loose not for the that they are better than ridge but ridge gets out coached bellwood does their homework they call out everyplay that ridge calls they know exactly who they pass to cuz its only one person and thats not hard to stop so if they had coaching they distribute they ball a little better than they would have a better chance and than calling the right play like whne its 3 and 24 we run the ball right up the middle and we wander why we can get the first down.

If you can't say something nice: Then Don't say anything at all.
Hey Moron, if it is 3rd and 24, unless it is the end of the game and you have to score, you just try and get some yards and then punt the ball. How many teams have a lot of good options on their play sheet for 3rd and 24?
Track101. I assume that you go to CR, so I would really like to see all this talent that you continue to speak of. Are you a member of the football team? Maybe someone who isn't so happy because you don't get on the field, so you come on here and complain about the coaches. Maybe someone who used to play quarterback????

Re: Ridge v. NBC
I believe Coach wilkins is doing a good job. What has been impressive to me is the Ridge defense the last three seasons. I mean theses kids flat out bring it on every play. Paw, I still find it hard to believe that Ridge will be A in football. If I were a betting man I would wager a good amount they wont be A anytime soon in the next 4 or 5 years. I believe the best team Ridge has was last year and two seasons ago When Barefoot was a Junior with Halbeg and those kids. Man what a team they had. Looking at it Ridge has a solid team this year but I just dont see them being able to compete with the elite teams of the Dist 5/6 AA playoffs. Maybe the Purchase Lines but not any of the top 6 teams. I am not talking compete i am talking winning some playoff games.

heres a break down of students per class at ridge (per 2001)
class of 2006: 157
2007: 161
2008: 167
2009: 134
2010: 140
2011: 138
2012: 128
2013: 125
now keep in mind these numbers are about 4 years old but its a close representation. now the cutoff for AA is 195 boys in 10-12 grades, so add any 3 consecutive years and devide by 2, if that number is higher than or equal to 195, then ridge is AA. so 2011,12,and 13 comes out to an enrollment of 391, which just for the sake of simplicity lets say exactly half are boys, that gives 195/196 boys, meaning ridge remains AA

gunner your an idiot you dont even no what your talking about. how can we drop to single A when we have one of the biggest schools in district 5. Tray (Wilkins)??... as you can see my name is TRACK101 not football 101. i used to play football in jr. high when we went undefeated 3 years in a row, but because WILKINS never throws the ball to WR's choose not to come out.. Also i play basketball to.
