yeah staying with the free agent thing, i dont remember edgerrin james saying that he wanted to go to arizona because of their "great" fans... the fans don't bring the players in to a team, the ownership and personnel get the player to play for them...

Once again you totally avoid me saying about how you say PSU brings in all these fans, so recruits go there. You're so far up your **** it's not even funny. Yet, when you mention that about the NFL, it's a totally different story. Yes, it all comes down to money, but if you don't draw any fans, YOU CAN'T PAY OUT AS MUCH MONEY. I don't think you know the first thing about running a business here, hosehead. You might have your 12 degrees in garbage, but don't think you know everything. You contradict yourself with everything. I guess that way you're right at least one out of two times.

the nfl and college football are two different kinds of businesses... you get paid as a player in the nfl and you dont in college, in case you haven't remembered... and i mean, have you ever heard a big-time free agent say that he signed with his new team because of the fans... again what i said eariler, personnel and ownership get the players in, not the fans... in college you don't get a contract, so you can't go to the school because of the money... that's where the fans come in... some school stadiums seat more fans than regular nfl stadiums (see: penn state), so the recruits want to play for more fans... the fans don't mean as much in the nfl as they do in college because in the nfl the fans can hate you and you will still get your big contract, but in college most of the fans are your classmates, and you don't have a big contract to fall back on...

Yes, you'd learn that in the 9th grade at Everett High.
