Whoaaa!

McCorts back in the D-6AA title game again. Correct me if i am wrong, but havent they been in the D-6 title game the last 3 years and still havent won a title. This game is a coin flip to me and should be a close game, but im going with tyrone, after seeing what they did to FH last week. But then again i believe mccort could have done the same thing to them.

To borrow a line from Hollywood...

"LET'S GOOOOOOOOOO LHACCCCCCCCCC!"

This should be a great game to watch... SHOULD being the key word. IF McCort does what it's done for the first 11 weeks of the season, they should win this game(run the ball well, play great defense, DON'T TURN THE BALL OVER). The one time they turned the ball over early, and often, this year, they fell. And they haven't since. They have a stout front 7 on defense that are very active, yet play their responsibilities, and can dominate a game if they're allowed to.

I've seen Tyrone play in one game, and they crushed FH on terrible field conditions(terrible used lightly here). They are medium sized, with great intensity and a "go get-em" attitude.

If McCort can establish the run in the first half, they might be able to wear down the Iggles up the middle, allowing for Barbin and Lewis to get loose in the 2nd half.

Franco is a great coach. Salem has incredible talent. This game should be outstanding, even if it is raining on Friday.

Opinionguy,

I think you need to read my post again. Not once did I say that the winner of this game has a great shot at going to Hershey.

Now to rankings. You can sit here and say that "rankings are just numbers" all you want. I want to tell you something. Obviously the ranking does have some weight, otherwise we wouldn't be talking about it. You think that BM players don't know that Tyrone is ranked 3rd??? It either helps or hurts the opposing team. You're all fools if you don't think having that ranking plays a mental part in this game.

I agree that the rankings are put together by people that probably haven't seen Tyrone play at all this year. I understand that you have to play the game. Mentally though, rankings can have a HUGE impact.

well, it will be interesting to see if McCort can handle the pressure of carrying the torch for the LHAC.....since that's all that's left...

Like i said before, not once when i was playin had i ever went to make a tackle and thought "man this is gunna suck because his team is ranked 3rd in the state" it will not impact the game...

and id look at mccort as having a pretty darn good resume...how many teams wish they could boast about having been to 5 district championships in 6 years...i mean id rather make fun of a team for not making it to the playoffs let alone the championship...

Where's McCort been practicing this week? I remember a couple of years ago they actually took the team out of school and took them to IUP to practice on turf, during school hours.

BigMoron82,

I was saying how that's a testiment to Tyrone's ability to overcome any and everything. Show me where I said that it cost FH the game, ANYWHERE.

Decaf buddy, decaf.

WTF concern of it is yours? Anything in effort to dig dirt! Did any McCort fans come on here & ask where the Rangers are practicing this week??

And actually since scholorships & general donations are up BM took the whole week of this yr & are practicing @ the UPMC comples in the S'Side of Pgh., while staying @ the Wm. Penn!!
I have to say thank you to me ..." for not being stupid enough to go to Penn State."
