Sorry, Dawg, haven't been online much lately. The Lions are now 6-4. They won tonight 43-42 (or something like that) down in MC-burg. Ryan Spiker was the hero, getting an offensive rebound and putting it up with 1.6 seconds to go. It was a good defensive game. The Lions weren't real sharp offensively coming off the Christmas break, but they hung in there and won a big SHL road game. Ben Way made a big 3-pointer going down to the wire. Nick H returned after nearly a month out with a broken thumb and played pretty well all around. Trevor Young got banged up early in the game (shin?) and couldn't go full speed. Coach Criswell took advantage of the Lion depth by playing 9 guys. Obviously in a close win like this everybody, somewhere during the course of the game, made a positive contribution. Coach Criswell and Barefoot did a nice job of juggling the lineup and doing everything they could to keep the Lions close. In the end the boys actually realized they could win and so they did. It was another game where three refs seemed worse than two. It seemed like the Lions weren't getting many calls, but in the end it seemed to even out, which is all you can ask.
Ridge plays Rockwood in a non-league game at home tomorrow (tonight, I guess). Hopefully, they'll avenge an earlier loss in a close game and really get back on track.
That good enough, Dawg?

Ridge handled Rockwood tonight with about a 15 point victory. Ridge's team seems to look a lot better with Herncane back in the lineup controlling the game well. Sanner was really a non factor for Rockwood who was missing a starter to injury as well. Nonetheless it was an all around good win for the Lions who seem to getting their proverbial feet back onto solid ground. . .
