One man show? Kind of hard to make a comment like that seeing how we have only played one game. Maybe this Friday the run won't work and all we will do is pass. Anyway, what would be the difference from last year if he was the one man show. Seemed to work good for Barefoot. Good luck Lions! OH, by the way, NICE KICKING!!

Relax. I'm just repeating what i heard from people that were there. I agree a win is a win. Why would you risk passing if you were leading the whole way? I just hope that Max doesn't get the thought that he had in basketball that he has to do everything. Try to run the ball as soon as he thinks he is in trouble and the ballhog talk starts.

What were the offensive stats for the game?

Ridge has the honor of blowing out us, Mount Union, this evening. Should make for great stat padding for the Lions.

Ridge won 36-6 with the fourth quarter played under mercy rules.

Good running from Downey -- 83 yards. Max Kauert . threw touchdown passes to Tomovich and Hess. Sasha Kauert had a td on a kickoff return. Looked like MU was standing still on the play. Guy Miller continued his domination of the defensive line. The defense, in fact, played very tough. MU a game team but outmanned. They hung in there the first half.

Just about everybody on the team got significant playing time.

It was a good effort. No need for anyone to get cocky but the Lions got it done.

Congratulations.

Where is Josh Utz playing?

How is Eric Young doing?

Any sophomores seeing playing time?

Young playing well, as to be expected. Josh Utz is at wide receiver now alternating bringing in plays with Lee. BTW, O'Neal had some nice grabs. All the kid ever does is catch the ball. Always. Some sophs, besides Max, playing on special teams.

Thanks for the "Sportscenter" update Foghorn. The other player I forgot to ask about is Colby Mock? And I assume Nick Herncane is playing football and not soccer?
