Maybe those referees are just like everyone else: Sick and tired of the way McCort is ALLOWED to do business. Real easy way to change the mentality, folks... release the info on how much money those kids are getting and follow the same rules as everyone else.

So BM should've won by 3 or 4 td's?

What was the score after the first quarter? 21-0? Yeah BM should have been able to build on that lead but they got relaxed and Richland actually started to play ball. That is my point, when you are up 21-0 at half, or even 21 pts for that matter, the game should never be close.

I'll be the first to agree the McCort bashing needs to stop.

Hm, what came first the chicken or the egg? I first got on here because people started kicking dirt on BM. Since, I've tried to stick to the games, but as long as people continue to kick dirt, I will keep dustin' it of...

Not sure how many people actually look at this site in nonfootball season, but it is nice to read articles and discuss things other than BM. It would be nice if people could acknowledge good accomplishments by any school, Bishops or not. But that simply isnt the case...

Nice try, but once again being stuck in that little world of yours you miss the entire point of all this. No one on here is complaining about how many time FH beat BM or vice versa, I personally think it's good for the area to have the competitiveness it does, but the fact is, and the point that so many people are trying to get across to you is simply stated that BM recruits and has an advantage over all the public schools b/c they don't follow the same regulations that public schools must. BM could best be compared to an illegal immigrant...they work (play) hard, receive gov handouts (alumni scholarships), pay no taxes (don't report money allocation)...the simple fact is that they play by a different set of rules, and these rules just so happen to be against the law, and anyway you spin it...it's still considered CHEATING!

BM could best be compared to an illegal immigrant...they work (play) hard, receive gov handouts (alumni scholarships), pay no taxes (don't report money allocation)...the simple fact is that they play by a different set of rules, and these rules just so happen to be against the law, and anyway you spin it...it's still considered CHEATING!

Can we just take a step back and look at the big picture please...first off, did anyone ever consider that the reason McCort people stick together and are so stubborn about defending their school is because they feel that McCort is simply a "special" place to go to school? No one is saying we are better than any other school. All I'm saying is that McCort is a special place. I'm not sure that anyone can describe what I mean by "special," but anyone who has graduated from there I'm sure would agree...so to make my point, maybe the reason that alumni donate money for scholarships for kids who need financial aid is because they want those kids to be able to experience the place that McCort is. And you people can continue to bash and badmouth us, and I know you will. It will go on forever until McCort ceases to exist. That's fine..do and say what you want. You can say we recruit, and that we cheat, and that we don't follow the rules. But the truth is that our kids are just a bunch of average kids who are playing for a school that they believe has a little bit more of a special spark than the school in the school district they reside. And go ahead, bash the administration and coaches. But why don't you ask them sometime how much money they make? Do you not think that Coach Salem and his staff could all coach elsewhere and make 4x the money they make at McCort? I believe they could. And some coaches and teachers have chosen to leave for the money...and that's respectable too...after all, sometimes you simply need to in order to start a family. But just remember that those are dedicated men and women at that school working for a salary that is not comparable to the public schools. So obviously they are there for a reason...because they believe in the tradition and special place that McCort is. And as far as recruiting, believe what you want (because I know you will). But the recruiting is much more of a myth than a fact. But hey, like I said, this bashing and hate will last forever.
