If I picked a favorite right now...from within the system...AJ Hoenstine. With the new administration at Central they may chose to go outside the system though, so I don't know who the front runner would be. There are some quality coaches around that have had to get out of coaching for one reason or another, so I don't know what their situation would be.

Names I've heard or just thought of on my own:

Brian Koontz
Max Shoemaker
Joe Nastasi Sr (H-burg assistant is a possibility)
AJ Hoenstine
Jerry Albright
Tim Lucko

I heard it from a pretty good source....

Barton has asked him to help out from what I've heard.

Central job would be cool, but do they want a coach only or do they want a teacher too. Being a teacher would mess up retirement if you think about it. Being an education major, I know that after too long you begin to LOSE money being a teacher so that could be something to ponder.

Whoa, with Coach Nastasi possibly either gonna assist at H-burg or even get on at Central, I might just have to stick around the Cove for another year! I would have to see how the kids today (outside NB) would react to him, it would be great! Imagine the stories...

This just in from a highly equivocal source ..."....Coach Joe Nastasi has just signed on to coach the semi-pro team the Below The Gap 'Yellow Crickers' whose mascot is flying kernels of corn!"

I would love to see him on the sidelines again but you never know since retirement has been treating him well. He is a very talented coach and can coach without having lots of talent. If Central would want to get him as the HC, they would be getting a good one.

Naz
Lets face it you say he has done it with very little talent but the truth is he had two of the best players ever in Bedford County history and I'm sure YOU would be one of the first to admit that. I am very glad that retirement is treating him well. I just hope he stays retired. He has given so much to Bedford County, he should retire from there
