OK Nitwits, who has been better this decade? Penn State Football or Pitt Basketball? Your spin will be interesting.
Keep in mind that Pitt has been to 7 straight NCAA Tournaments while PSU has only played in 4 bowl games in the past 8 years.

Does anyone really realize how great it is to be #1 in men's basketball at the halfway mark of the season? By now, most teams have played about 14-15 games and are into their conference schedules. In football, only 6 games have been played at this point. Also, there are 347 Division I basketball teams vying for #1, compared to 119 in football. To be 1st out of 347 at the halfway point of the season is as good as it gets for now. No matter what happens in the future, it is a tremendous achievement in college team sports.

I applaud Pitt basketball. They are truly the most amazing basketball team Ive ever seen, and perhaps the best team ever. Might as well put them in the NBA they are so dang good. King James aint got **** on Pitt basketball.
