Its simple Richland is better then people give them credit for, and FH is not as good as people say.

Here's what I say...

Both teams forfeit their games next week (giving them both 1 loss and a tied record and sharing the LHAC) and play at a neutral site on, fake grass so you can actually get a snap off, and bang heads.

WH and Bedford (FH and BM's games this week) can both have bragging rights they knocked off the two best teams in the LHAC as they try to right their programs!

Have donations during the game, sell some BM vs FH t-shirts, admission goes to a charity, and ESPN Classics can have the game film!

I was at the BM-FH scrimmage. Yes, BM had a few players did not play that day, but so did the other team. Whether it's a scrimmage, or a regular season or playoff game, these two teams flat don't like each other. Respect, yes, but toss it out the window when they meet. We can speculate about this year all we want, but the fact remains they WILL NOT face each other when it counts, and that decision was based solely by BM dropping down a class. Or Don Bailey paid bribe money to KS to drop down. Take your pick.
It ain't over until it's over.

McCort would drop lower if they could, it would be a great game if it would have happened. To compare scores or scrimmages is ridiculous. Football is a sport, where there are so many factors that play into a game and both teams are very good. I would take defense over offense any day.... Good luck to both of them in the playoffs.

Getting back to the BIG play in the FH/Richland game. Up 9-7 with around 6 minutes to play in the 3rd quarter, Richland was faced with a 4th down and a "yard and a half" on their own 34. I can understand the playcall from Brandon's point of view, but many fans don't realize that Rizzo was under center to take the snap, not in the backfield like a fullback. Wouldn't it have made more sense to have the QB take the snap from center and hand it off to Rizzo with a little head of steam plowing into the line. Rizzo taking the snap as a QB under center got nowhere fast. The rest is history.

There was also another 4th and short with Rizzo lined up in the backfield, earlier in the game. When he got close to the line of scrimmage his right knee was clearly down behind the line. The referee spotted the ball in favor of the Rams giving them a first down, and if I recall correctly the Rams scored on that drive.

Believe me, Rizzo was NOT over the line. In fact it wasn't even close. The ball was hiked from the 34. When the dust cleared, it was placed ON the 35. Clearly half a yard short. They didn't even measure for it. Don't blame the ref on questionable play calling and execution.
