You get to omitt and change critical facts when you say Bedford has won 6 of 7.
And for you to think I care about Richland is purely idiotic. I didn't omit anything, I was wrong with my numbers. My bad.

At the end of the day you can play by the rules that you have laid before you. Bedford is doing so and continues to win. Richland got their rear-ends handed to them last night, and they're done. It's the way it is. The world is not fair. What makes you think that highschool football should be any different?

Just to state this one more time, Bedford hasn't really won anything (outside of more playoff games than Richland), yet. They're in a COMBINED district playoff with districts 5-8-9. They play in the 5-8-9 finals this week at NBC.

Maybe, since Richland isn't playing anymore, you could come out and support a local LHAC team.

Didn't say you cared about Richland--just pointing out 1 of many teams that can be annoyed with the unfair format.

And Ham, I am glad you said,"The world is not fair, why should HS football be any different."

Because now you can quite whinning about the unfair advantages of BM.

Can't have it both ways... **** when you want that things aren't fair, but when they favor you say, that's just the way it is.

Where did I EVER say anything about BM? Furthermore, where did I ever say that Bedford deserved to be playing? Reading comprehension buddy. I have never said anything about Bishop McCort in this thread or any other. I talked about the game the was played last night and what I observed with the team that they have coming back. They probably won't win next week, but they're learning to win. And after the last 3 seasons they've gone through, that's HUGE for them.

So once again, drop the grudge, stop putting words in my mouth, and live with the way the districts are set up. Because no matter what you say, at the end of the day, Bedford is still playing. Penn Cambria, Central Cambria, and Richland are not. Not because Bedford is a better team than those teams, but because they're the beneficiary of the system that the PIAA has set up for them to play under.

And they did it without a youth tackle league! Go Bisons!

At least State College isn't a private school.
Just pointing out, that yes Ham, while perhaps you do not carry the banner---you are never above taking a cheap shot at the privates.

Funny, you accuse me of putting words in your mouth, when that is exactly what you did to me w/your reply thay you don't care about Richland. I never said either of us did.

And since you are the one with the reading comprehension problem, I will re-state that I never critized the kids from Bedford. I only pointed out how many schools could be annoyed with hearing about, which is where you come in, Bedford advancing, when they have yet to beat a team with a winnning record.

You were wrong with your numbers--we agree on that
My comment regarding omission of facts, were just the facts I pointed out, about the competition the Bisons have encountered as they build momentum for next year--and learn to win. I understand this is not supposed to be fair and balanced journalism, but some reference to the quality of Bedford's opponents would definately be appropriate.

Regarding the 5-8-9 situation. I think i remember seeing a picture of Danny Smith in the mirror holding--wait ---would that be a championship plaque. I also think I read that Bedford had never lost a D5 championship game, or CR had never won one (I admit here, my facts may not be exact) seems like someone was making it a championship.

I have no gurdge against the Bisons, I think I have said that before. In fact I hope Bedford, who does have some very nice young talent, continues to win D5, at least they play in an equitable conference---the other option in D5 AA (for whatever reason) bolted the LHAC and refused the MAC, that's another discussion, but perhaps a contributing reason to the lack of respect for D5 AA.

I only entered this conversation after you and head roadie jumped all over youngbuck--all that was pointed out was the obvious. I think you accused him of being bitter, seems to be your MO when someone states obvious facts you don't like.

If you want the criticizm to stop --beat Karns City and the Quips or GCC.

PS. Hunterx, I agree that tackle football leagues start way to early, and think anywhere around 5th-8th grade is plenty early to start playing tackle.

Wow, you had to dig for that in the college/pro sports about a transfer to the state college area, and you find that as damning evidence that I have a problem with Bishop McCort? Pulling at straws much?

Hey, Bedford did win what was a championship game. But they're still playing within their district that the PIAA has set up for them to play.

I must have missed when Bedford got to choose who they played at this point in the year. Because apparently that's what they're doing?

If going to a game and coming on bleachercoaches to tell what happened at a game is not allowed, then why is this site even here. Because apparently my recap of what happened was out of line at some point. I'm sorry I was trying to add some information with some substance to this pointless thread.

To sum up: I have no problem with Bishop McCort or any private school in the state; I never once said Bedford is accomplishing great things, but they are beating the teams that are placed before them; and apparently I should be sorry for going to a game and coming on here and giving a very brief recap of what happened, because I may make some people sore over the simple thought of Bedford still playing at this point in the year.
