ridge by atleast 14...atleast...there's no doubt about it. portage is big but ridge is bigger. let shoemaker's boys stomp the yard. it's coming. better be ready to throw stuff at the buses as ridge leaves the stadium.

lol I hate when people comment on stuff and don't know what they're saying. Portage is one of the smaller teams, CT was a lot bigger, pretty much every team we've played have been bigger. Portage has more speed than anything. I'm not here to hate or talk crap about anybody i'm just telling you the truth. We're down this year compared to the last couple, we should have played in the last 2 D-6 C-ships and 2 years ago probably would have won it or at least made it close. What's your team btw? I'm not gonna give a prediction but if Ridge wins by more than 2 scores i'll be shocked.12HankQB wrote:ridge by atleast 14...atleast...there's no doubt about it. portage is big but ridge is bigger. let shoemaker's boys stomp the yard. it's coming. better be ready to throw stuff at the buses as ridge leaves the stadium.

Re: Chestnut Ridge vs Portage
WoW, this thread has gone all over the place. Now putting all the Portage this Portage that stuff aside..... I'm a Portage alum but i'm more football fan full circle. Ridge is a well coached very seasoned and disiplined team. They're running shoemakers option attack pretty flawlessly this year with some good players at QB and the Donatelli kid at RB. Their defense is pretty solid but had some issues chasing down Saylor, but who really hasn't this year. Now in my eyes for Portage to have a chance they're goin to have to open up the passing game even more than they have in the weeks passed to try and get ridge from stacking the box every down because lets face it the mustangs are incredibly undersized this year compared to years past and can't really just push around people anymore. This being said unfortunately gouse continues to try and call plays that rolls out the pocket for a QB that (not offense to him cause he's a great kid and solid QB) runs with concrete in his shoes and gets sacked 90% of the time. So all and all i predict that Ridge probably wins by about 18, but whos to say that Portage isn't pissed off about breaking the streak last week and comes out with fire in their eyes at home and everything clicks and they pull one out, thats the beauty of playing the game.

Hahha...wow superstar...and congrats to scoran going to play at sfu, but from what i heard he's been more of a tackling dummy there rather than actually playing.

Aight pudge i know you wanna go after superstar and i'm not defending his stupidity for the most part, but ripping on a kid for trying to further his football career a little bit isn't really adding to this arguement. Scoran is Red Shirted this year actually, so if he's just gettin beat up on the practice squad so be it.
Re: Chestnut Ridge vs Portage
Im simply just stating what i heard from people from portage. Like i said congrats to the kid for getting a chance to advance his football career....ive just heard from many people from portage that its a little more difficult to play in the college level....my best goes to anyone from this area who goes to play at the college lever, i know how difficult it can be....all i can say is stick with it

Fair enough sir. And i'm sure its quite the growing pains for the kid. He is afterall coming from Portage which is known for its ground attack and not so much for its air assult if ya know what i mean lol
Re: Chestnut Ridge vs Portage
HAHAHAHA i like how words were put in my mouth when i never have said anything like that especially that i was better than Ryan Scoran? Plus i have never said anything about dominating any teams on the football field and for those who know me, they know why i couldnt play this season. As for you superstar i would really like to know how much varisty time you get and i think a have a very good idea of that. Maybe your username is just stating that you are a jv superstar...
