well said jdb12...this is varsity, equal playing time and that crap left as soon as it entered the high school doors. if you want little tommy to play because he was there the whole season then let little tommy play AYSO or something. this was all brought about because of the 14th ammendment...not the part about making blacks citizens as most people know it as, but the part about people getting certain rights just because of who they are, not actually earning it...thats the problem w/ the world today, everyone wants everything handed to them, theyre all afraid to go out and actually earn it. good job ham for trying to earn a spot on the team, and if ritchey can win his spot back, then good job to him as well!

bison 1 ... just so you know i've been around wrestling for over 12 years so i think i know at least a little bit about it. yeah i agree other wrestlers should be in better shape and have the advantage. i think also it would be great for the team. our team lacks a few spots and could use some help too. but how much weight does ham have on ritchey? since they jumped weight to 275 i've seen a lot of decent wrestlers lose because the guy just out-weighed him. you sitting at 225 trying to wrestle a 275lb kid is hard work even when they do suck. i'm a mom , and i know what my kids go through to wrestle. i love wrestling. its the hardest sport out there, both physically and mentally. btw my kids would be giving up 100+ so thats not a factor in my opinion. if they do let you on ham , i wish you the best.
gottaluvit obviously u have never seen Hambone, he is one huge mammoth of a character. So im sayin if ham wants to join wrestling and can beat someone out for there spot and it is your kid, might wanna talk to your kids about possibly a sport change! Personally i would love to see ham throw some guyz around on the mat and pick up a few wins.

I don't agree. As a mom I can see your opinion is slightly biased since you're kids wrestle. If you were to fully understand each competitive high school sport you would change you're opinion. Wrestling requires an immense amount of dedication and practice but it is not the hardest sport out there, neither physically nor mentally.gottaluvit wrote:i love wrestling. its the hardest sport out there, both physically and mentally.
