To answer hampstercage the fullback/linebacker number 42 that plays forthe Trojans is Kai House he was out for a lot of games for the trojans last year due to injuries but he seems to be looking better from what I saw at the scrimmage, He usually wears the number 44 or atleast he did the past two years. Count on Mount Union to be a tough competitor this year, they have 9 or 10 returning starters to go along with a new head coach.

....Boring. To start the scrimmage, each team did the typical 10 play offense two times. FH scored on it's first 10 plays on a 30 yard pass play. Bedford did not score on it's first 10 plays. They did lose a fumble. FH got inside the 10 on the next set of 10 plays, but did not score. Bedford did not score on their second set of 10 plays. They did throw an interception. FH up 1-0
....Then the JV's came in and Bedford scored once, FH did not score.
....The varsity's then played 2 series each with the chains as in game conditions. FH did not score on the first series. A first and 20 situation due to a holding penalty when FH was moving the ball didn't help. Bedford scored on a pass play on their first series. FH then scored on their second series moving the chains, on a 5 yard run. Bedford did not score on attempt #2. Results of the varsity scrimmage: FH 2, Bedford 1.
....Not sure why, but Shippey did not play quarterback the entire evening. Did play LB on defense though. FH did the 50-50 pass/run thing. Bedford was more like 90-10 run/pass. Maybe because Shippey was not the QB.

According to today's Altoona Mirror, Bedford's Hess moved to quarterback and Shippey to running back!

That s good cause Richland did not look good in week #1.

Northern Cambria ran the ball well vs them and North Star also moved the ball vs them in the Air.
