That was quite common at old school's alma mater "Hunky High" back in the 60's and 70's.

fact

ppl definately care. bush has a lot of enemies. as i remember a while back, one of his secretaries called the teachers union a bunch of terrorists. bush has a way of making all people that dont agree with his way of thinking be unamerican. bush relies on propaganda, landing in a jet suit on that air craft carrier declaring victory in a war where more soliders have died since he did that than in the time before.

i personally do not like bush. i think that he has ruined america's image in the global community. he has allowed too many of american jobs to be exported to foreign countries. he has allowed big business to get away with all kinds of illegal and unfair business practices. he lied to the american people about how long us troops would occupy iraq and the amount of money required to complete the campaign.

it may seem like bush already has the race won in the middle of pa. generally, the middle part of the state votes conservative while the pittsburgh and philly area votes liberal.

i dont know much about john kerry. i will read up on him before i cast my vote in november. i dont need to read up on bush tho. he wont be getting my vote.

Austin, You really do not need to read up on Kerry. Just reread your last post and you will learn what his current line is on Bush. It really is a tough job to learn to think for yourself when you constantly get fed one side of the story from the press.

i dont care what kerry's line is on bush. i care about what his line is on issues meaningful to the future of our country. my vote for kerry, if he gets it, will be determined by what his stance is education, the economy, foreign affairs etc

i know what my line is on bush, and it is not b/c a news channel has swayed me one way or another that i dont like him. i do agree that many people are influenced by one news channel tho. i think that if a person only watches one news channel, that person is definately swayed. the little news that i watch, i try to watch different channels and shows where more than one person is talking. i like to watch the dennis miller show and the bill mahr show b/c they both present topics in very different ways and they are both very smart guys.

Tax and spend (Dems) vs. borrow and spend (Reps).....

Some choice we have this year as once again the entire political process is being fueled by spending and special interests.

I think it would do both parties good to just get back to their roots and separate themselves from the extremist of their respective party's.

All that aside though----I truly believe the success or failure of Bush's exit statetgy in Iraq will determine who will be the next president. A timely capture of bin Laden wouldn't hurt either.

I think its "fact" that most people actually care about the up-coming election.

A couple questions for Austin.

And whomever else wants to contribute.

Tragedy of 911. Act of organized terror because of a "leave alone" mindset on behalf of the US leadership over the past decade. or An act that would heve occurred irregrdless of our political intervention in the Middle East?

The Iraq war. Bushs war or new response to a new threat in the USA?

Current economic situation in the US. Normal economic cycle, worsened by the 911 bombing, lessened by the Bush Tax cuts, or worsened by the WTO and other international trade agreements?

Give me some CrossFire!
