BG wont 42-3 in 2014, and 34-0 last year.   35+ is a running clock. 

I'm just not sure where the gap has closed between the two teams, It's not that I don't think Johnstown is good, it's just that I think BG is really good.

I guess a running clock can be considered a mercy rule I was thinking more on the lines of stoping the game i.e. Baseball . I don't ever think the gap has been wide between them yea scores have been one sided but we play with who we have we don't have kids from surrounding areas coming to our school that's why I wisH PA would of done what all the other states do have Private School Catholic School league where they call pull and recruit all they want and we will do like we do every week play with the players we were dealt .

I get Class A schools being upset with BG and other small catholic schools but a AAA (now 4A) school shouldn't have much to say. They have 80 kids on the roster, multiple D1 players across the field. 


That's just my two cents. A 4A school with athletes like Johnstown shouldn't be losing to class A teams of any caliber especially by 5 touchdowns.

This is what makes America such a great country we are all entitled to our own opinions and views. So I will put my two cents in also of these 80 players that start camp how many do you think are actually there when the season starts maybe 60 then when school starts with grades and other issues now your down to maybe 50 of those 50 how many you think actually see starting time in some capacity 25. Not sure where all this big time talent you talk about is at ? All I'm saying is if we had a school that drew kids from Johnstown ,Richland, Westmont, Ferndale, CV, CT, and Forest Hills we would be a power house also.  We will just have to agree to disagree

Exree Loe, Bryce Gibson, and Shamar Jones are all going to play Division One Football, that's the talent I'm speaking of. Loe is considered one of the top 15 recruits in the state. So if Johnstown starts with 80 and loses 30 players along the way, they'll have the same amount of players BG has, 50.



Johnstown is a AAAA school, BG is class A. Most AAAA schools with big roster numbers and Division One athletes wouldn't lose to ANY class A team.


And all those school districts you just said basically describes McCort, and they suck at football and have for 3-4 seasons now. So I don't see what you mean if Johnstown could hypothetically pull from Ferndale and Valley and become a powerhouse, because it ain't working up the street.

[left]I believe BG has its share of Players with offers and as far as McCort what draw do they have to pull kids in BG has state titles which is a draw to kids if I'm not mistaken the two big lineman BG runs behind are not originally from the BG system if I'm mistaken correct me you will never change my views and I will never change yours lets just leave it at that or we would be going back and forth all night [/left]

I agree, catholic or private schools should play each other, I support McCort but I would like to see the State step in and make 2 leagues.  At the end of the season, if the two state champs want to play, then let them play.  In the same thinking, No 4-A school should be playing 2-A or 1-A schools like you find in the LHAC.  That just my idea, have all public 1-A schools play each other, and all 2-A schools play each other, etc... The Private Schools play each other this would make a even playing field for all schools in the state.

Remeber crimson is a mcCort guy and he will never have a problem with parochial schools but he will blow up jtown for not dominating with players that actually live within their district.

And i get AAA and AAAA schools getting upset with A private schools like bg beating them because they aren't true A teams!

Tell me bg doesn't compete in wpial AAA and AAAA...probably winning AAA. What other A school is even in the conversation besides Clairton? (who may or may not recruit)
