So, school board Politics were alive and well in 2011. There's a revelation...
You base your conclusion on the whimsical personal agenda of school board members,...most of whom never played football,...while dismissing the good he did while coaching young men at CC and Portage...
Like arguing with a box of rocks.
I'm done with this topic. Over and out.

Corrente was not one of the applicants for the job in 2011 that is a fact the established coach that was skipped over many felt was ridgely

I think they will be a better team next year they are playing a ton of young guys that are getting valuable experience just another year for the line man to get bigger and stronger and for the young skill guys to develop

I don't know anything about the specific situation at CC, but I think in general, to often people get tied up in how long someone has been somewhere. And I'm not just talking high school football coaches, I see it regularly in the business world. Just because someone has the most tenure at a job doesn't mean they are the best at it. However, some people re-invent themselves later in the career and do things differently. I actually think Don Bailey has done some of this, what with using more shotgun over the years. Really good topic though... all retirement parties aren't equal!

Heard from someone at the game , that CC sideline kids were chanting or yelling "yeeeeeeeep" throughout the game. Anyone know what this is about?

Essentially it was just cheering, nothing else about it.

What exactly were they cheering for?   They were not doing it with any kind of consistency, bad play or good play.

No idea, probably just making noise to make noise. Kind of sounded like a softball game to me
