Chestnut Ridge Girls Basketball
Re: Chestnut Ridge Girls Basketball
I'm not sure where everyone is getting their info on who is good and who's not. Apparently the people giving their two cents never made it to a girl's game last year b/c quite a few of the so called "great" players were never even put in a varsity game unless the game was a blowout. Maybe some of you should actually come to a game and see who is out on the court playing. Not trying to make anyone feel bad, just telling the truth.

Well, from the little bit that I have observed, those that mentioned Lindsay Winegardner and Kayla Lape were certainly correct. Amy Whetstone, Katie Novak, Jill Davis, Janelle McCoy, Jessie Rowzer, and freshmen Kaci Batzel were also looking promising. I guess we will find out soon enough.

Jill Davis is a senior and plays post. She's not as tall as Lape but still, she's up there. I know she was a starter last year but I'm not sure if she started her sophmore year as well? Kaci Batzel is a freshman who moved up and is also a post player. She's not quite as tall as Lape, but is getting there.
Chestnut Ridge Lions...let's step it up a notch this year! 8)
