i dont think any d5 team has ever made it to the finals, let alone win there. come to think of it, i cant think of any team from district 5 in ANY sport to win a state championship...theres been individuals in wrestling and track...but i cant think of any team that won the whole thing.

McConnellsburg had two State championship teams. Girls track was State champs back around 1982 and Girls basketball were state champs in 1990-91 season. MHS girls only state championshsip teams from Dist 5.

Since they have gone to state playoffs in football no but I think Windber has one or two state championships in football a long time ago like 1930's or 40's when they were voted on correct me if I am wrong anybody

I'm not sure if they were voted on or not.I know in the 40's anyway,the small school state championship was determined by a playoff between the winners of the Eastern and Western Conferences.Back then they encompassed 90% of the schools in the state.Tyrone was co-champs in 1940 after playing to a 0-0 tie with Shennandoah Valley.

Where do you find the preseason highschool football rankings? Where is CR ranked at this point?

Most services won't have a preseason ranking out until probably a week or two before the opening games.

Oh I beg to differ--eaglealum is clueless!!! I know the guy he was all state in two positions his senior year-center and guard. Go figure he may have been the worst player in Eagle history and he sure ranks right down there in coaching.
