crazy is it? in the past 5 years, the bison soccer team has won 1 district title and played in another final...the football team has made it to the semis. westmont lost 1-0 in 2OT in the state finals, bishop carroll football got slaughtered. it is not rare to see a soccer team from district 6 go further into playoffs than a football team from d6....therefore the level of soccer in the area is higher than the level of football...common sense folks

Re: ICC vs LHAC
that just goes to show that football faces stiffer competition than soccer. soccer isn't playing anyone, therefore they're making it to states practically every year and doing well...
so winning a district title or making it to the state finals...theres no competition in that at all? soccer teams from district 6 USUALLY go further into state playoffs than than the football teams...WHICH MEANS, THAT BY COMPARISON, THE SOCCER TEAMS ARE BETTER!
ok i stand corrected...that goes to show that there isn't any competetion in soccer in the state...

Re: ICC vs LHAC
The LHAC plays better football then the ICC, and we all know it. At least all the other sports are more evenly matched out between the larger and smaller conferences in the district.
Re: ICC vs LHAC
Isnt it kind of hard to compare the two conferences? I mean there is only 1 single A school in the LH that i can think of (carroll) and they are a pretty prestigous program. The ICC only has a couple of AA teams and they are far from competitive when playoffs roll around. W/ BG leaving the ICC it lowers its talent. The ICC is made up of too many small single A programs to ever compete with the LH, I played in the ICC myself, I do think that the conference is very competitive within itself and is definitely comparable to the west pac but never to the LH
Re: ICC vs LHAC
Gunner, I agree we have good soccer for our area, but to compare it to football is not realistic.
Where did the most prolific scorer (said to be the best) soccer player in Bedford's history go to school? UNC, VA, PSU????
The best of our area does not compare. I will root for the Bisons but in the big scope it isn't that good.
