Good point, Ham. I've always thought that if you have a chance to win the game right now, why not go for it? Coach Swaim and the staff and the players have NOTHING to regret.

It is the BleacherCoaches who will second guess any decision.

I thought it was a good idea to go for 2 when they got the penalty but I would have tied the game up in overtime #1! Hey stick with your guns and try to win the game! What a great game to watch as I was in attendance. Awesome plays and good HS playoff football. Congrats CC

I heard from one of the bedford players the line judge told them they didnt see the ball for the 2nd 2 point conversion and just went on his gut and called it no good if this is true woo thats lame

yeah well it should have never come down to a 2 point conversion, plus they had to cracks at it with a penalty on the first 2 point play! Wow what a game though

Next, there isn't a ref in the world that is going to admit he "went with his gut"

There were 3, Bedford offensive linemen in the endzone on the first two pt conversion that the mystery flag was thrown on. Best case, Bedford should have had a second try from the 3 due to off setting penalties.

I would have given the ball to Young as well. He had a heck of a game.

As I said in a past post, Bedford had a great game and CC just had a little better offense. Good luck Devils!

I think BOTH offenses played tremendous football.

I don't think CC's played better though...just my opinion.

Bedford's offense just failed to capitalize (which isn't playing better I know, but they did have the opportunities). There were missed FG's and missed XP's. A TD was dropped in the endzone late in the game, there were numerous fumbles that cost them...

I feel that CC executed when they had to and took advantage of Bedford miscues. They played the more complete game...that is why they won. Again...this is just my opinion.

Hmmmm...didn't realize that.

I never looked at the box score...I just thought that there was no stopping the Bisons. They probably stopped themselves more times than CC stopped them. No matter though...great game by two very good teams.

It all comes back to that play in the endzone where Ford dropped the pass and then the FG up 28-14. Need to put teams away because Bedford has so much more talent and speed than CC, but they got out powered in this game. Bedford was too small up front to handle CC!

Don't blame Ford. CC dropped a lot of passes as well. That Ford kid is going to be a force again next season. I think he should be the QB next season. Any thoughts on that in Bedford land???
