I believe PO beating Tyrone earlier in the year was a fluke, Tyrone will come out much more prepared this game and obviously won't take them lightly.

yeah...but don't you usually get your act together at half time when you under estimate an opponent?

Good point. But many more corrections can be made in a week of practice then can be made in a few minutes at halftime. Tyrone being as good as a team as they are they will iron out their mistakes from the previous game and it should be a much different game this time.

Tyrone wins the D6 title. Why?

Because Tyrone or Forest Hills has won 11 (or 10, did Bellwood beat Tyrone in 2000?) out of the last 13 district titles.

Forest Hills is out, Tyrone wins it. Franco knows how to get it done. Plus they basically have the entire team back that won the title last year. How can they not be the huge favorite to win it all? P-O over Tyrone in the regular season was a fluke, in a rematch I'll take Tyrone by at least 2 scores.

I said this to other people, and they've told me it's not accurate, but the guys I talk to from Tyrone (older guys who follow football and aren't fools) told me after the PO - Tyrone game that Phillipsburg was the best team in the district. Now, take it or leave it, but that's what I heard from Tyrone people. Whether or not they said that as a justification for a loss, who knows.

Should be an interesting match up.

I heard that when PO and Tyrone played the first time that Tyrone was missing some starters. Any truth to that?

I have to go with Tyrone. Experience counts in the playoffs and Tyrone has more of it than anyone else.

Tyrone would not let PO beat them this time, no matter what happined in the past. I'm takin Tyrone by 2 touchdowns.
