first of all, eminem, where do u get the chip off the old block. what block are you talking about. that make completly no sence. i agree with coolrunnings by saying that u should think before u start typing. second of all, i doubt you actually raced the state meet last year. jogged would be a more appropriate ward for the situation. so think about a better choice of words to use next time. and at least have them make sence. b/c i know what a chip off the old block means, but how you frazed it, sure doesn't make scence, even to the smart ones, like myself.

i just realized that "kane" is not actually EMINEM. unless he talks in 3rd person. Rogerbannister: read the topic on the somerset race. he's not eminem or horne, so he is just acting like hes eminem so he doesnt sound as rediciously slow as he actually is. he is 19:00+ at districts. but its alright kane, you'll get up there some day big guy. and tell your buddy eminem i like his song "lose yourself".

i was with jake walker for a majority of the race
for a little more then 2 miles but then i dropped back and he kept going
so it was a good race

well he got second overall in that race
he lost to jed christianson by about 6 seconds
in that road race in pittsburgh there bannister and coolrunnings
and i like how you guys try to use other people to justify you guys getting beat and not being as good as you guys put yourself to be.
but the diferrence is that you guys don't know who i am or what i'm capable of doing in races
on the other hand i know who you are cool runnings and your brother was a better athlete/runner then you
he also edged me at the finish line in track 2 years ago in the mile at the west central coaches meet
judd brooker was one of the best runners i've ran agaist and he wasn't as coky as you at all
in fact i don't even think he was cocky
but you you need to grow up your a freshmen in high school your nothing special
now if you can improve greatly by the time your a senior then say something until then be the guy to beat then start talking yourself up maybe a little
but until then your just mediocre
you use the excuse that you ran a 17:43 and didn't go to states well then next year, you need to be the guy that other people say that about
that they didn't get to go because you were there
then you can talk
but until then i'll be cheering on people like travis dean, and jake walker at the state meet on saturday. :lol:

and yes D5 is not that big of a district at all and i wish that they would kind of put d5 in d6 but thats just me

thanks duece, i agree that d5 should be put with d6. however, i am deeply hurt that u think i am pretenting to be someone who i am not. i am a simple man, just trying to get by in this world. however, you do not know me, i am from the mountainous state of Colorado, and i happened to place 17th in state last year as a sophmore. nothing i said was supposed to hurt or harm u in any way. i am simply trying to put eminem in his place. i mean come on, chestnut ridge, its a joke this year. i can't beleive that anyone would go around talking crap on other school when he's like 4th or 5th man on the "hicks" team. i mean, how dumb can u be. lets be honest, the team sucks.

may i but in? I ran in that race this year it was really cool. they give away so many awesome door prizes including steeler tickets.I finished 8th in the heavyweight division.

Roger, Here is a little information about the meet you mentioned.

Ridge beat both Westmont and Bedford at the meet.

There was a scoring mistake but the scoring runs down like this between Ridge and Westmont:

1. Dean 17:18 3. Horne 19:20
2. Eanes 19:06 4. Ickes 19:41
7. Majcher 20:02 5. Emerick 19:51
8. Merriman 20:25 6. Pauley 19:56
10.Brownlee 20:54 9. Lieb 20:49

Not too bad for a team that sucks. They also beat a very good BM team this year. Yeah I know Rosko wasn't there but they still would have lost with him. Once Emerick edged out the BM freshmen(who by the way is a very impressive runner) the score was set.

I will agree that D5 should be included with D6 but it is not Ridge's fault that this does not happen. After comparing times with D6 at Districts Ridge would have probably finished 7th. maybe 6th if their runners would have bumped down other runners. I don't think that is too bad for the number of teams in D6.
