So why is a verbally-committed Pat Bostick on his way to Knoxville for a Tennessee visit? Come to think of it, that kid might good in orange.

Shame, shame.

Guess I need to spell it out. You are ranting about a kid leading a team on when he had his selection made up in his mind. So, again, why is a verbally-committed Pat Bostick taking a trip to Knoxville? Maybe Phil Fullmer just thinks Bostick is so cool that they wanna hang out with him.

"Why is he wasting everyone's time and money?"

That ends it: Bostick is a horrible human being, who is leading an entire University, and its loyal 247 season ticket holders on.

Interesting. What's your source about Bostick's other trips? Where can I see this in print?

You can see it right here in a couple days.

http://tennessee.rivals.com/commitlist. ... &school=80

I'll tell you why Pat Bostick is taking a trip to Tennessee. Because he does not wanna go to Pitt. He was a big PSU lean until Devlin committed, and he IMMEDIATELY not only lost nterest in PSU, he completely removed them from his list of possible schools. He didn't knock them down a few pegs, he completely eliminated them. Tennessee has no decent back up, and Ainge will be gone soon. They are a major college powerhouse. He also had Georgia high, and is gonna visit there, but Bostick is not as good as Matt Stafford, an incoming freshman, who is already #2 on the depth chart behind Tereshinski. Stafford will probably win that job by mid-season, b/c UGA is about to have an 8-4 season. Bostick has an offer from UCONN: young QB they are very high on named DJ Hernandez. He also has offers from Louisville and Maryland, but Louisville has a young QB too.

Bostick looks like a kid who is very good but stuck in a rut right now, because the teams he likes have young QB's or else don't want him (PSU / UM). He committed to Pitt because they have no backup and Palko is a senior. Pitt won by default. Now, Tennessee is interested, and UT throws the football more than Pitt does. Plus Tennessee wins games once in awhile. Not trying to start any more trouble with this statement, but I dont know why any good QB would want to go to pitt right now, with zero WR's that are high-profile and none on the recruiting radar. Even with Bostick's commit, Pitt still lost both Ditto and Sukay, hometown boys. That does not bode well for Bostick's clout.

FYI: Tennessee is notorious for being able to steal recruits who already committed elsewhere. This will be worth keeping an eye on.

Everything that TAE said is true...

And I'm sorry, but I think we have rules here about posting links to, or direct info about, content that is purchased, etc...

Truly makes you wonder why Pitt has not been able to ride Bostick's coattails.......after all, he said he was going to try and influence recruits, etc.... so why has not there been a big haul since his verbal? When DWill verballed to PSU the impact was IMMEDIATE and the MD recruits rolled into Happy Valley, and did so last year to the dismay of the Fridge...

All I'm saying is, if Bostick does visit UT or UGA as it has been stated and likely to happen, and he does decide to go to far greener pastures, I hope there are enough cops to guard the Roberto Clemente Bridge to ensure that Wanny does not jump off....

Coattails??????? IT'S JUNE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NO ONE has played a down yet!!!!!!! Since when is verballing in the summer the thing to do????? Just because PSU is stupid enough to give away HALF their scholarships before any senior has played doesn't mean it's the thing to do. It's like going Christmas shopping. Do you ever buy something in late November, then find something better and less expensive later toward Christmas? That's what's happening here. PSU will miss out on all those seniors who are just waiting to show their wares this year. But guess what? PSU will have NONE left to give. Right now they are getting verbals based on potential.

Coattails? From today's Tribune Review: John Fieger, offensive lineman from AAA Pennsbury High School, verballed to Pitt yesterday. Fieger said "Knowing you're going to have the best quarterback in the state going to the same school, I'd love to block for him and help him win championships". Coattails? They're coming.
