Could it be just to win a state championship? If all you crimson crushheads really believe how great you are, and you really don't recruit all this great talent, step up like PCC and play in AAAA. Certainly with all this talent you can handle the move. However, I will congratulate you when you win the 1st round game this year against that mighty powerhouse Claysburg-Kimmel.

AMEN!

Now fellas............

Everyone is talking about the running game and throwing back which line is gonna stop which and all this jazz. Both teams have great backs both teams have great lines.

THE GAME WILL BE DECIDED THROUGH THE AIR.

Also which team makes a big play via special teams and the turnover story....

CC doesnt have a good enough offense to hang with BM.

BM 34 CC 18

nice to see a civil post craz & others....can't we all just get along..... every thread turns into BM recruits or sucks or both or a cheap shot about Wilmington etc, etc, whatever ad nauseum! To focus on this game, I think it is thee game of the year to date.....CC owns the most impressive win of the season @ home vs fh a few weeks ago! With that said, I think they (CC) should be viewed as favs in this game; albeit by a slight margin! Honestly, a CC win might help BM focus going into the playoffs (they are not invincible)...and CC playoff status/seeding should not be that big of factor as opposed to having the bragging rights of wins vs fh & BM! With that said I think it will be a classic, close battle & the team w/ the fewer turnovers will almost certainly prevail! The mobility/health of BM's qb & the condition of J. Seidel (did not dress last week & believe me folks he is a stud rb also) could be factors...if they are both 'gos', I can see BM ending up on top. Have seen parts of CC vs fh & CC vs Westy last week....O'Saben is the real deal & the whole squad is playing well following adjustments to losing qb (too bad, a helluva athlete) so again, I think the Red Devils go into this epic clash as slight favs!
I have to say thank you to me ..." for not being stupid enough to go to Penn State."

This is ridiculous. I am quite ashamed to be even posting here on BleacherCoaches, but I had to finally stop reading and say what needs to be said. There's a few of you who know what you're talking about on here, but for those certain few who haven't a clue, let me educate you. Simply stated, BM is better than CC. I have seen tapes of the Red Devils over the past few weeks and I have read about their games and heard first hand accounts of how their games have gone. They lack the necessary components to run with the Crushers. They don't have a leader like they did last year, for one. I was there at the D-6 title game last year, and this year they don't have a 77, 11, or 21 to lead them when things go wrong. 14 is a temper tantrum away from being tossed every game, getting inside his head seems to be easy. Where are the playmaking receivers? 10 had a good game vs Westmont, but 1 out of 8 games doesn't scare me much. 15 is hurt. Haven't seen anyone close to a viable second target. 19 runs nicely, but I have reason to doubt his toughness. RBs simply aren't physical. Front seven has no speed. Linebackers don't fill gaps and step up to ball carriers. Secondary is always a liability, hasn't changed since last year. Kick away from 19 and special teams are a no factor. By my estimation, coaching hindered CC from being 2007 D-6 AA champions. While I have noticed improvements this year, it's easy to call plays when you're up blowing out Bedford and CH, against FH's slow defense, and BG's no defense. The last close games CC has been in? BC, Richland, PC. Folded, should have lost, and choked. CC can play with second tier teams and is a nice little squad, but when the bright lights come on and all the eyes are on them trying to dethrone the reigning champs, who's going to relish in the pressure and step up? Zero.

hey malou --simply stated-- mc is a 5 1/2 point underdog at ebensburg--dont have the defran to varga connection to bail them out of a tough game--- it will be a close game but on fri nite in eburg -- cc by 6--simply stated--- so give up the points and skip to ma lou straight to the A playoffs and go all the way to hershey--- it will be nice to have a local team in final

Sounds like you need to look to the other 1000 yd back in Merrimen...Its too bad the other QB quit he coulda been a hero with Schrey not being 100%.

yes very questionable descion to quite after week 2. But McCort has moved on and thats a thing of the past. Schrey hasnt been playing great but his health is improving and he will finally be a bigger factor in the offense.

We all know that "on any given day" anything can happen. I predict a win for the crushers in Ebensburg (their record there STINKS). Schrey looks healthy, Mcaneny's a force, & the backs won't be stopped.
