and FYI, throughout the 70's 80's and part of the 90's richland and mccort hardly ever played eachother, but as of late since richland has turned it around it has been a "rivalary" , although they have always hated eachother

There is a lot to be said for both teams their history and where they are today. They have taken two different paths. One with a storied history, the other trying to find a way to build a winning tradition. No matter I see this being a hell of a game.

First off, "history" over three seasons? Try their history in general. Username was right on, the "stink" still smells from 2 years ago because Richland fans are that desperate to make a name for themselves. BM can/will/ and should treat this as any other game

Richland did impress me with their win over Johnstown- Ramires had around100 yards rushing I believe but they did allow Johnstown to have 150 yards on the ground, I'm sure BM will match that - forcing Ramires to run rather than throw would be huge.

Hopefully this will be an old-time spicey classic game between two solid teams. I saw Shane Rugg playing right guard vs BC because of injuries to the Center, good luck with that DTs. I just hope BM can drop the AXE.

I doubt it. I mean for the players every game is a just another game, but McCort supporters still are pissed off and complain about the last time these teams met at the point. I mean I can't blame them. Richland has a better brand new school/field, has an all around solid/balanced/good sports and extra curricular activites department, and has is actually on the rise with enrollment/football talent. Beating richland in football is one of the few victories/bragging rights/recruiting points BM can enjoy vs their cross town foe,so when this is threatened mccort fans become rather sour.

On the center injuries, Tim Hornick was the starting center and got hurt, then Jake Maruschok filled in but simply could not handle it.

Its like Iowa Penn State, Penn State is better Iowa is not a rival it just pisses u off when u lose that undefeated season to a team with much worse recruiting and overal program prestige...
