Bedford vs. NBC predictions.

Creps never got on the mat...but the rule is a coach cant stand in front of the bench at all unless walking behind the chairs. if you watch close a lot of refs will tell them to sit down in this case the ref wasnt going to do anything to creps since they missed a headlock was going on for 25 seconds... overall i would give the refs a score of 80% but i still agree with getting a D5 or D6 ref...

I totally agree about fans ...no one including Bedford acts like angels all the time...But this match was out of control and flipping off wrestlers and cussing out wrestlers needs to be dealt with ...Creps was up because he saw his wrestler being held in an illegal hold and I bet any other coach would of done the same thing isn't it their job to watch out for their wrestlers? The illegal hold was clearly seen by everyone at that side of the gym both Bedford and Northern Bedford Fans were mixed there and no one was arguing this fact .When a match is so intense maybe adding more security would help ...There are always more security at Chestnut Ridge vrs Bedford due to the intense rivalry.I think this would help ...

You could bring in the PA state police and they would of acted like that....I recall this big sportsmanship msg being announced at the start of the match which told out of control fans would be removed....hahaha

Congrats to bedford, great match. I will say that i was extremely disgusted with nbc fans. After Dougie Weyant wrestled, 4 nbc fans were giving Dougie the middle finger. I dont think there is any place for that in a scholastic meet.These are high school kids and do not deserve that for any reason. Not only were they flipping him off they were swearing at Creps the whole time. They are some of the worst fans i have ever seen. I am embarrassed for everyone from nbc.

TOTALLY AGREE ~ every year it gets worse!! Something needs done...........they are getting way outta control and until something is done they will continue. It will be a repeat at Districts too. Stop the madness.

You could not have been at the match ? creps was on the mat for about 5 min, team points should have been deducted,your score is to high about a 40% for the refs...

Creps did not get on the mat till the ref had stopped it when he kid was hurt... Those refs did not cost NBC anything they were fair both ways i was right on the other side in the mix of NBC people swearing and acting like the good sports they are..

Some of you are probably old enough to remember one of if not the worst fan sportsmanship at a wrestling meet in D-5 in the recent past during the district finals. Fan's son is wrestling a NS boy and cranks him making it look like the NS kid is going to be wheelchair bound and gym falls silent until dad yells, "Break his back!!" Could have cut the tension with a knife. I believe dad had to walk home that night as his wife wouldn't let him in the car.

iirc the NS kid won the match, then the NS coach while standing on the mat gave the dad a ten second double bird.

Wow talk about labeling without thinking ...I take that as a huge insult to D-5 fans ..I agree their are a few out of control fans but they are few compared to the fans that are very sportsman like ...I have seen schools wrestling from four different Districts and they all have their "out of control" fans here and there period NO one is better or worse than anyones else.
