Bellwood at Northern Bedford
Re: Bellwood at Northern Bedford
What a retarded set of posts!#! These schools have been in the ICC for just the last six years, really?*#? Last time I checked every school has a vote in any league so how does NBC's 1 vote supersede all others to maintain a divisional alignment? Northern and Bellwood have not ever been in the same division in over 50 years in the ICC, I don't believe. Why didn't they play in the '90's? Was it Nastasi that had 12 votes to every other schools one vote then? Maybe you ought to ask your dad why Williamsburg was never placed in a division with Bellwood by design, and why they refused to play and conspired with other D6 small schools to vote Chesnut Ridge out with a relinement from 3 to 2 divisions a few years ago.Pirates22 wrote:My dad said N.Bedford has avoided playing Bellwood for a lot of years. My dad use to be a coach so he would know. Other Icc coaches wanted big schools and small schools divisons for a long time. N.bedfords coach didnt want it that way, thats why it was north and south divisons. Now it's big and small and he said N.Bedford is trying to get back in small school so they can have easy championship every year and not play Bellwood and Jun.Valley.
Continuing, is NBC going to expel students to get to the small school division? If they do *gasp* they'll have to play Juniata Valley (Oh MY) who they scrimmage now. I suppose avoiding bigger/good schools is why NBC scheduled a District 9 "AAA" opponent for their 10th date this year too. I don't see anyone else in the ICC, and there are a few AA schools, playing a AAA opponent. For being, supposedly, a coaches son, you are either grossly uninformed or it's painfully obvious why your oblivious daddy was fired, presumably, from coaching.
Why don't people just talk about what a great game this could be instead of stupid crap? Let's turn this around for a second, why doesn't anyone question why Bellwood chose to play non-conference Tyrone instead of a potential crossover matchup with Northern Bedford for years when NBC would have been available on a non-divisional date?
Re: Bellwood at Northern Bedford
Either way, going to be a great game. Both teams will fight to the finish.

Actually this year Bald Eagle Area and Bellefonte are playing each other twice as well. But that's not really important because it's not good practice in any form. It can't be too difficult to work out a schedule where you don't need 2 games a season between the same teams, especially since you have 10 weeks now and can schedule out of conference games now.Coach wrote: In order to go to the new division the conference already has to look foolish by having Williamsburg play Claysburg twice. No other conference does that.

Re: Bellwood at Northern Bedford
Can we please stay on point here with talking about Bellwood vs NB? We arent talking about Williamsburg fielding a team in 10 years or the fact that Ridge jumps from conference to conference like the Easter Bunny.
My predition...
NBC 24 Bellwood 21

Re: Bellwood at Northern Bedford
I have seen Bellwood play twice this year, once against Tyrone. I also saw NB play once against Everett. Its hard to say how good NB is because I havent seen them enough, just against Everett who has no idea what they are doing or what direction to take the program, but thats another story. This game pits good skill people against good skill people and lines that are pretty close. If the weather is right and no rain I am going to take NBC 34-14 in a route against Bellwood. I wish I could come to Loysburg to see this but I have to go cover another game. Should be a rockin time in Panther Land.
