How far back do you want to go DragonsDoExist with records and stats. I know a guy that probably has them plus old game tapes , all from the 70's and maybe some from the 80's.

Appreciate it smelly but I was just saying it would be nice if that stuff was available to research from time to time when these types of discussions come up. The individual stat records are on the school site but nothing as far as team history and playoff history.

1) Has Tyrone ever lost a Home Playoff game in the Quarterfinal (1st) Round?

I had to do some digging on this. Tyrone has lost in the first round at home.

1998 Lost to United 20-0 at home

Are you sure that was a first round game because United then beat FH for the district title the next week, perhaps there were only 4 teams at that time

I remember when there were SIX teams that made the playoffs. #1 and #2 had first round byes. In the first round, 3 played 6, 4 played 5. Perhaps this was the pattern back then.

I know it was the first game that Tyrone played after the regular season. Could be the 6 team playoff. The records don't show a bye week.
