Bishop McCort never played up....they always played what the state made them play.

No, I'm telling you facts. Kids can transfer any where yes, but people have to move for this to happen. Don't be naive. United is just running people over too. The privates don't have a border. Every single student is from a different school district. That's fact. It doesn't matter if they've been in the system their entire life, they're still not a natural student body. I love how hard everyone fights against this. Why are we so afraid to move up a class? You play larger schools all year.Crushersports wrote:That's bull, look around...Homer Center is an example last year their QB was a United transfer. This year one of their best is a Blairsville transfer. I'm so sick of hearing public this private this. Public Schools don't have fences around them either. How many kids dido United get over the years who lived in the Laurel Valley district? Southern Columbia is a public power and they've had kids switch to their district. This is not an isolated private school issue it's everywhere. You're choosing what fits your narrative.12HankQB wrote:No, but the public schools are getting their players within their district. They have to move. That's cute! May have to lie about an address but they don't have to move. All a kid for a private school has to do is put down 6k ( if not higher) please don't give me the scholarship BS.12HankQB wrote:No, I'm telling you facts. My favorite part of playoffs is when local Private school parents complain about other private schools recruiting and how it's not fair to them.

Haha!! People have to “move”...priceless..so it’s ok for a parent to rent an apartment in a public school district and pay no school taxes to that school district (I know I know the landlord does but the parent DOES NOT) which means they are going there for FREE..or getting a “Lift scholarship” from all over the other parents/residents who ARE paying School taxes living in that district? But, it’s NOT ok for a parent to continue to pay school taxes to their home district AND pay to send their kids to a private school that offers better academics and athletics? The hypocrisy on here is emabarrasing...12HankQB wrote:No, I'm telling you facts. Kids can transfer any where yes, but people have to move for this to happen. Don't be naive. it's really not that easy to lie about an address. Oh and show us the canceled checksAiks19 wrote:They have to move. That's cute! May have to lie about an address but they don't have to move. Where’s the outcry from everyone on here that thinks only kids born and raised in a school district are allowed to win?? Last I checked 1 in 5 on the court is 20% of your team..pretty high percentage of not “born and raised”Colonel Mustard wrote:So Ferndales coach goes to Jtown and takes a player along? Interesting.

It’s very easy to lie about an address. There was a kid that lived in Windber and drove to Portage everyday for school. He used one of his friends parents address.

Yea some people own property in one district, just to send their kid to a specific school. There are plenty of ways to manipulate the rules.
