College basketball takes 68 of 347. 19.6%

In 2018, there were 297 Division I college baseball teams. These schools compete to go to the 64 team DI baseball tournament, and then to Omaha, Nebraska for the 8 team college world series. Please adjust your math accordingly.

Am I missing something? It was MLB baseball and the college basketball field.

You're missing a lot. abpk just compared major league baseball to college basketball. I just straightened things up a bit, comparing college baseball with college basketball. Seems reasonable to compare a non-professional sport to another non-professional sport. Why mix pro and amateur situations? Plus comparing 30 MLB teams to 297 DI baseball teams throws off the calculations of percentages.

I got ya now. I saw the comparison to MLB and college basketball. I was just wondering what you were saying. I probably dragged this conversation a little longer than it had to be....For that, I apologize. Lol
