The crowd will be one of the biggest in Bedford's history. Too bad they don't take a tally at the gates, it would be interesting to see how many show up, i know how it feels coach, psyched up for you're team, just hopefully the end isn't the same for you as it was the last Bedford team that played there...

I think this game will be decided in the first three minutes of each half. Berlin obviously knows how to win as they get the ball to D'Carrion.

NBC knows they have to stop him just like the kid from North Star, but on a completely different level.

The emotions will be high to start the game and mistakes will have to be held to a minimum...Just ask the Bedford faithful on that one.

I give the advantage of home field to the Black Panthers. Many, many NBC faithful will attend over Snake Spring mountain.

Look for NBC linebackers to make a difference. If they control D'Carrion..less than 85 yard rushing...I predict a Panther victory.

Otherwise, Somerset county will rejoice with a D5 Class A title.

Early prediction...NBC 13
Berlin 7

It's nice to see people get excited over a football game not involving Bedford or CR. Even though both of their seasons are over, I hope that players from both teams go out and support the black and white.

NBC has the heart and will to win this game, just as long as they play like they wanna win. I've went with NBC all throughout the season and I'm gonna go with them again. :-)

NBC 14
Berlin 8

I would bet and including myself would not think NB would be the only Bedford County team still alive! That is great and good luck Panthers! Bring home the crown once again!

Well, I went to Berlin for 6 years of my life and know most of the players and they are more pumped than any other team I've ever seen before. It's gonna be a great game, and final score is Berlin-28 NBC-24
Sorry Bedford County but I gotta role with Berlin on this one. Ben Hay is a firecracker quarterback, lineman are ripping apart the other team in the trenches and D'Carrion is carrying the ball like he's Faulk three years ago!

As a fan, I love defense, and as a Ridge alumni, I hope that NBC wins. However, Bedford is just a ways down Route 30 or Route 31 from Berlin, and I'll bet many fans of the blue boys will be in attendance as well. NBC will probably have more people cheering for them there considering that people from Ridge and Bedford will probably show up at the game to cheer them on. So NBC has a slight homefield advantage, and perhaps a slight big game advantage as well. Berlin from what I've gathered, has an impressive offense. I don't care if they played all JV teams though, to go 10-0 is quite an accomplishment, to maintain that level of consistency from week to week. And they did beat Windber, North Star, and Portage in the regular season to make it there, and no JV squads played them on Friday night so far as I know. But ultimately, defense takes the day. Perhaps the highlight of the year for NBC's defense that shows how good they are is holding Ridge to 14 points. Admittedly, NBC didn't score any, but that is no fault of the defense of that team. Ridge ran up an average of 28 points I think during the regular season. So NBC had a good game there. So what's the final? Defense takes the day in Bedford, as NBC holds Berlin to 2 scores or less. However, that is providing that the offense shows up that night against Berlin. I don't know how tough Berlin's defense is, but NBC puts some points on the board, they can win.
