Well then be thankful we have a forum like the NBA that keeps a few more of them off the streets.

Which is just slightly lower than the residents of Portage.

I think Artest messed up, but am not sure how I would have reacted. I do know that I find it amusing how the first little white guy in the black shirt was kinda jumping and happy and then his mouth drops wide open as he sees Artest about to pound him.

I think the league should shoulder a good bit of the blame also. If I cannot be protected at my place of work and then face punishment for my reaction to a situation to which my bosses are responsible for, then there is a problem.

Good point Bedrock, it all comes down to security and crowd control. There was a supreme lack of it and thats what caused the 'riot' in the Palace. I'm not sure how I would have reacted either, but if I would have gone up in the stands, and had that guy grabbing me around the waist start hitting me in the head, he would have been the first one knocked out, he is really lucky that Artest didn't just demolish him right there...
