Just like the CEO of Phillip Morris. He doesn't care how many people he kills, as long as he brings in the BIG BUCKS for the company. It IS about the dollar isn't it?

I was curious what Penn State fans thought of this and what the general public feels about where PSU ranks in the Big 11.

The reason I bring this up is because a friend of mine (Michigan Fan) emailed me the following stats. I was surprised because I thought PSU's record was much better than this.

PSU's record versus what most people would consider the top 4 programs in the Big 11.....Michigan, Ohio State, Wisconsin, and Iowa.

Here is PSU's record versus the top-4 since 1993.

Michigan 3-7 (including 6 straight losses)
Ohio State 4-8 ( including 3 straight losses)
Wisconsin 3-5
Iowa 4-6 (including 5 straight losses)

Guess I'm a purest. Football for football sake. For the sake of the game. For the sake of the fan. Didn't think the real purpose was to be a business entity. So PSU can go 0-11, as long as they rake it in for the Big Ten?

I was always under the impression that everyone involved won with Penn State being in that conference. They were independent all those years and did well against good programs. They have a huge alumni base and subsequent fan base. The Big Ten shares bowl revenue. It LOOKED like everyone would benefit from a "Big 11". They still do, A LOT, but not as much as everyone thought.

College football is all about money. There's maybe more money in college football than in the NFL. I mean, look at how much these teams get for BCS appearances. A BCS appearance can give a school enough revenue to beef up facilities and then attract better players. You should see the bullsh!t UNT is pulling to try to get into the WAC or C-USA. It seriously makes me sick. And I just saw in the paper we are building two MORE dorms as well. I guess 40,000 students isn't enough. Where these kids are gonna sit is beyond me, my classes are always jam packed.

Hey Hollywood, did you actually attend classes in college, or just play football while skipping them all?

Moron? You and AE should play football in the backyard with each other because that is all the further you guys could play the game of football. Heck sometimes just go outside of your house and act like you are coaching because that will be the closest thing you will get to being a coach too. Seriously! Holla
