Re: D5/6 AA Playoffs: Round 2
Opinionguy, you would be correct to suspect that.
I give those McCort players credit. That had fan support for about 2 quarters that entire game. And, obviously, they came back to win. When Bedford starting running the ball and went up 14-0 there was NO. I know because this McCort lady would not shut up in the first quarter, but then I didn't hear a sound in the second. She actually called Bedford chickens**ts when they kneeled the ball with something like 23 seconds left in the half. Now that's class!

Re: D5/6 AA Playoffs: Round 2
I wasn't really talking about the "tea and crumpets" kind of class. Everyone knows that McCort has more of that class because they pay tuition and all. I was refering the the sportmanship class. What is wrong with some of these schools?
I'm a good ole FH boy. I was taught from an early age that you do not "boo" a player or team. There are exceptions that you can show dislike; when a player does something really cheap it's okay to show your dislike, but not just because they are the other team. Some people don't even give support to injured players that get help off the field. I'd say the best eye opener was when I attended a Windber game. Those fans are nuts, and not in a good way. They boo and yell stuff that isn't very appropriate.
So where did the class go? Some have it... but a lot don't.

Re: D5/6 AA Playoffs: Round 2
First thing i would like to say is one fan doesnt account for the entire faithfull at a game...im not sayin u wont hear certain things yelled out from the mccort stands, but this whole forum would be filled if everyone replied on here when they hear an upset fan express his point of view(something he probably doesnt even rememer yelling)...second...flakjacket..ur probably the only fh fan that follows ur edicate...the intire red-neck nation (excpet you) yell profanity the entire game...along with bedford(whose fans are ignorant enough to yell "go back to johsntown you f*gs" while sitting in the mccort stands), and i mean tyrone fans might not yell profanity, they just beat up the visiting team's bus drivers...ya man i cant imagine what you guys would say on here if mccort student did that..
haters...
haters...

Is being a redneck a bad thing. Not really!
And as a side note... FH is known for having a fantastic education system. Most of the graduates pursue some of the toughest majors that colleges have to offer.
And...
I know of one particular "farms boy" that ran that right down the gut of most teams. Those farm boys know what it is to work and appreciate things.
That's all.

Dfense:
(1) - Why is McCort not respected. Because they do not run the type of program they claim to run. It isn't an opinion, it's a fact, and Ken proves it every year.
(2) - Most McCort posters on this board offer no insight to football at all. They get on here and say McCort is great, we don't recruit. Then thats it. They lose, you never hear from them again until the next time they beat Forest Hills. In fact, the only McCort fan poster that ever has any insight is Username6.
(3) - You can not claim to be classy in one breathe and call a fan base an "intire redneck population of Forest Hills" in the next. I mean you couldn't even go a whole post without contradicting yourself.
(4) - May I remind you that your best player is from Forest Hills, and from South Fork I might add. And that players grandfather is one of the most respected individuals in the Forest Hills School District. So are you calling him a hick too since he probably isn't flakjacket?
Most people on this sight ruin their credibility by themselves even before they hit the submit button on their first post.

Re: D5/6 AA Playoffs: Round 2
MrHYPE said it pretty well and accurate. Maybe KS doesn't say to himself, "I need a noseguard. Which school dist. has a good-looking 8th gr. noseguard? Let's go recruit him!" But HYPE also said, and also true, that when the PARENTS of disgruntled little Johnny or Janey want their star to leave because they feel shortchanged at their school for WHATEVER reason, and they are not DIS-SUADED from coming to McCort, then they are actively RECRUITED. HE said so. I believe him, and it.
"What we've got here is...failure to communicate. Some men you just can't reach. So you get what we had here last week, which is the way he wants it. Well, he gets it. I don't like it anymore than you men." -Strother Martin, COOL HAND LUKE
