Re: PSU Recruiting News
What football stadium is on Pitt's campus? Maybe you missed it but Pitt Stadium was demolished. If Heinz Field is located on the Pitt campus, that sure as hell is news to me. And the city of Pittsburgh.
Why can't Temple get the Eagles field for Saturdays? Why can't they split home and aways with Villanova, or even play day and night games on one of those fields? I'm sure at least one of them has grassy turf and isn't as hard to keep in good shape. Where are they playing now (2006) as an independent and next year as a MAC member (2007)???
You guys talk so much trash on Temple like they are so horrible. They BEAT Pitt a few times recently, and most of you knuckleheads are Pitt fans. The difference between Temple and teams like North texas is that Temple will fire a coach and go try again. They specifically went after a defensive oriented coach this time around, and got the guy from UVA, who has had a real good group of kids in Charlottesville recently. That's a good hire. They also tried to get Tom Bradley, who is a proven coach and recruiter. Don't get me wrong, they are a hell of a long ways from any conference contention, but you gotta start small. They have been willing to build up and tear down and try again. That's better than not caring at all. Even Rutgers eventually found a guy to get them to a bowl game. In the MAC, Temple will be fine.

Re: PSU Recruiting News
I never talked trash on Temple not at all at one time i would have loved to have their bball team in the Big East. My brother did an internship with the Eagles and I got the inside scoop and he is currently in their marketing dept, the eagles dont want temple playing there but the governor ask nicely

I see, I see. So then what you heard was that the Big East has a 25,000 seat requirement? Is that just a seat requirement or is that an attendance requirement? How big is Rutgers' capacity?
Penn really holds 25,000?
