ok heres the deal with penn cambria...the o-line is a concern, but the 2 starters returning are def solid, plus there was a kid in jon nagle that didnt have to play o-line cuz of seniors but he is a good senior to put in there...other 2 spots in center, and a guard are being developed but there are many kids out this year....the skill positions are very speedy, plus returning all backs except holsberger, in mulhearn (tb) glenn (sb) geisbrecht (hb) than a new kid a fb which can run hard...the offense will have more air under it..a good qb is being made...plus they have the defense still...big returning starters are, cb mulhearn, (7 ints last yr i believe) safety glenn, lb geisbrecht (2nd on team last yr in tackles) than some big kids filling up the d-line....they are still a threat in the fetzer era

Explain to me how a kid can keep his head up when cut tackling? It is one thing to get run over by a bigger guy. But if you are taught the correct form you are not going to get injured. Yea, you might make the tackle against the big guy by cutting him. But you are putting your neck and spine in position to sustain a major injury. Not worth the risk. And again, any coach teaching it is being negligent. If he is not worried about the kid, he should at least be thinking lawsuit and worry about himself.

Any coach i ever had said cut tackling is a cowardly act. Not only that, you arent using proper form tackling technique. Kids if your reading this, do it the right way, see what you hit. < thats what that guy in that video said, after he was in a wheel chair paralyzed from the neck down.
When you take on a big back you still want to form tackle them, but instead of going through the numbers, you would want to go a little lower. NOT CUT HIM.

Face mask to knee cap..that keeps your head up..and brings the big guy down..its worth a little pain down your back so you dont get run over..and ive never heard of any permanent injuries directly relating to cut tackling.

You shouldnt come on here preaching improper technique. Many highschool and junior high players read this site, i would hate for them to read your post and take your advice...and end up never being able to play ball ever again.
