westpac bball wrote:Ok sportsfan22 everytime you get on here its about Strasiser. We all know he is an outstanding athlete at three sports and excells very well at all three. It gets old reading everything you write when its about the same player. I think everybody in the area realizes that he could be one of the top athletes to come out of somerset county if he keeps working hard. So what if he had one bad game. He is only a sophomore and has a bright future ahead of him. Everybody has their bad games and he'll bounce back because thats what athletes do.
he is overrated. he is great. but for being 6 5, he's not.. township will have no trouble shutting him down if they have the right guys in the right place

Waterbug are you serious right now? The kid is a sophmore and you are saying he is overrated? Anyone in this area would love to have that kid on their team. He is a tough matchup considering that most corners in the westpac are 5'8". The only player that I have seen this year that can cover him is Ty Stockwell. By far I think he is the best cover corner in the westpac.

BB, i would like to see the Strasiser vs Stockwell matchup without Berlins safety playing over top the corner,,, just 1 on 1, would be interesting to see.......Stockwell is no doubt the best corner in westpac. i think he would limit him , but not hold him to 30 yards like when they played them.

How could you say Strasiser is overrated?? i know he is 6 5 and most corners are 5 9 but 75 % of the time he is double covered which totally levels out the height difference. just saying.

He is great for being in the westpac.. he is 6 5 and should dominate teams but instead he drops perfect td passes and fakes an injury so he doesnt look like a clown, his brother was absolutely fantastic and u cannot blame a wide open reciever dropping a touchdown pass on a "miscommunication" ct shuts them down these next 2 weeks, no doubt

come on bb was is it always about berlin. i know your statement is the only player you have SEEN so i am expecting you havent seen anyone else cover tony.colin bryan from windber had great coverage on him all night. tony had 37 yards against c.v. 28 against berlin and 28 against windber. yes he had big games against rockwood shade and ridge in single coverage, that tends to happen with a 6'6. putting 2 on him like berlin did shows you how he can be shut down there were several passes into nowhere but colin punched several of the balls that where thrown to him out of his hands.

i have been watching these 2 boys for years now growing up and playing football and max is by far the better football player as tony is by far the better basketball player. keep in mind some of those passes into nowhere may have been the recievers running the wrong route also, of all the passes i saw friday, max was pretty much dead on when throwing, his recievers, and not just tony dropped a lot of short passes and tony was defensed quite well, but you got to catch those balls that go into your hands and maybe he just had an off night

wow i like how one of the best athletes in our area, who happens to have 700 yards receiving and 10 td's (as a sophmore) has 1 bad game and now has people hating on him....and im not even from ns, give the kid a break, especially after some of the catches ive seen hime make this year and i only attended two games, will be at the township vs ns...should be a good one

Yeah, no kidding. These two are definitely going to be a dominate force in the next year, opening up a run game. I see North Star being a very good team next season. No doubt Tony can play. No doubt. It helps when him and Max can have practice every night all year round in the backyard.

Seems to me Windber did a pretty nice job on Staisiser. Did he have 1 catch? Also Im sure that Stockwell is a tremendous cover guy. I think that Liscka from Windber can be considered the best cover guy in the Westpac. There arent too many completions on his side of the field from what I have seen.
