If you haven't been to CC for a big game, here's some advice: sit behind the team bench. If you get stuck in the second deck on the other side, it gets to be about 100 degrees and you can't see around the student sections. Even the West PAC is using a college gym. Come on LHAC, do better.

Pressure on the AD's will be the only way to change it, if enough of them can agree to do it. While they're at it, drop the online ticket BS. Lessons should have been learned the past couple seasons, and if the PIAA wants to make a couple bucks people should be able to make a pre-game decision to walk up to any gym and buy admission. Many, many were denied because of internet connections or lack of, to buy tix. Many were denied access because online ticket readers were defective, or claimed tickets were fakes. NFHS is only so-so with any coverages. I wholeheartedly agree DO IT BETTER!

The state high school football championships were played on a high school field.

I don’t care what gym it’s in, but personally, using a college gym that is at 25% capacity and sound echoing off empty seats isn’t exciting. I want a packed gym with student sections and lots of noise. That’s what high school sports is about. I’d also rather support a local high school booster fund than a state funded college. Just my .02

I've been to several playoff games at the Mount. Always a packed house and a much more comfortable atmosphere for everyone. Same with UPJ. Ask any fan that got stuck in the top section last night how they enjoyed the game? They charge more for admission, shouldn't it be a better set-up? I know I'm a cranky old guy. Just my two cents also, and its obviously not going to change.
