I think CR or/and Bellwood would be in the top 5 of the LHAC this season so it is nothing like the WPIAL. The conference is good but not great by any means so get off of that kick!!

i'm pretty sure the icc is all single a teams except for ridge while most of the lhac is aa aaa ridge should make the playoffs this year by beating most of the a teams in the conference if cr had to trade say mt. union for forest hills, or nbc for bedford,or tussey mt for mcort or carrol would they even be in the aa playoffs the only thing really positive for them is they should be really rested and healthy by their schedule with hopefully not but propably the same results as last year

How difficult would it be to organize the Conferences based on school size? Set up regional conferences based on size and mix in a few non-conference games along the way. Then perhaps we could get beyond this bickering.

the ICC has 3 AA schools...widge, evert, and penns valley, the rest are all A schools. the LHAC has 2 A schools (carroll and richland) and 2 AAA schools (jtown and somerset) the rest are all AA

I would just like to see the winners of the district do something in the playoffs regardless of ICC or LHAC.

Well if the region was organized by size into a conference then perhaps the programs would be elevated to a higher level of competition?

Dawg, this was attempted about 10 years ago. Dist. 5 actually approved it...as I recall there were 4 "A" Sections, 3 "AA", 2 "AAA" and one quad-A section.

It never got by D6 people and in particular the current Heritage Conference where the Purchase Lines, Marion Centers, and United's of the world wanted nothing to do with a "AA" section that would see them playing Westmont, F.Hills, and McCort instead of Saltsburg, Blairsville, and Homer Center.
