CRLionDawg, with factual arguments, Southpaw couldn't even find the whole in the end of a barrel figuratively speaking. I gave up because it was LIKE talking to an idiot (like in caps lest he take offense at the smallest thing while he goes and insults everybody else). If there is a hole in the argument that can be found, LionPride is the most intelligent conservative on the site.

flea - I was done even responding to you because of your senseless rambling all the freakin time, but to put yourself above Southpaw in intelligence is laughable, and I couldn't help myself in speaking up.

The liberals on here are making their rounds, taking their turns, and trying to figure out some way to spin the election to be in Kerry's favor. Folks, it's over - your guy lost.

And the bottom line is, if you look at red COUNTIES vs blue COUNTIES, it's amazing. You can't deny that.

We live in a rural area, and it's obvious that major cities are the only thing that keeps it close for Democrats. The facts are, you take just the Philly votes away, and Bush wins PA by a fairly large number. Why do you think that is? I haven't done the research on this, but this is what I believe (and Southpaw mentioned before too). The major cities are the ones benefiting the most from the Democratic entitlement programs. Put a Republican in office, and their in danger of losing their gravy train. Around here, people believe in working for a living.

Why does that make a Democrat better for US? I guess if I move to a city and go on welfare, I might vote for a Democrat too.

Is it really that simple?

I agree with what you say about the redistribution of wealth. However, not every one that lives in a city is getting a direct government handout. I beleive there are some other reasons you see a distinct split between the city and country vote.

I have problems with people who brag up their own intelligence or the lack of intelligence of others. I know that writing and talking about politics, religion, and sports makes a lot of people seem dumb. Especially me.

Well said. If I would have said this, popele would have jumped down my back.

Really LP? I was done responding because I hadn't seen any evidence that disproves this bad equipment thing, or any evidence that justifies posted by either you or Southpaw, and you tend to use right wing ramblings to back up your points. I use news articles and factual information. If both if you would actually use factual information and news articles to defend your positions, rather than just this I'm right and you're wrong BS, I would have a lot more respect for both of you.

Flea, remember one thing. You can find an article that supports your position if you look hard enough.

I really beleive this equipment issue is being or even has been resolved.

"The national government will maintain and defend the foundations on which the power of our nation rests. It will offer strong protection to Christianity as the very basis of our collective morality. Today, Christians stand at the head of our country. We want to fill our culture again with the Christian spirit. We want to burn out all the recent immoral developments in literature, in the theatre, and in the press - in short, we want to burn out the poison of immorality which has entered into our whole life and culture as a result of liberal excess during the past years."
- Adolf Hitler -

Gott Witt Uns - God is with Us is what the Wermacht belt buckle had inscriped on it during WWII.

I do not think those who disagree with me on this board are Nazis. I do not think President Bush and his staff are Nazis. But does not the above seem somewhat similar to what is taking place today.

"This year will go down in history. For the first time, a civilized nation has full gun registration! Our streets will be safer, our police more efficient, and the world will follow our lead into the future." --Adolf Hitler, 1935

The above quote is labeled by anti-gun people as a fake. I have no facts to say if it is or not.

My point here is that if the above quote can be labeled a fake, than yours could be as well. But the bigger question is why are the Democrats so anti-Christian? I'm not saying you are or foggy is, but many of the voices of the Democratic party scream of anti-Christian. Look at the ACLU with the whole Boy Scouts and the military. For heaven's sake, the 10 Commandments are everywhere in the Supreme Court. Why is that so bad? Christian laws are sound laws for society, regardless what religion you are.

I will post some other quotes later tonight from some of the founders of our country.
