Especially when he could join a party with a bunch of stand up guys like us :). Wait, that approach may not work. Scratch that.

Your right LP we've been called racist, sexist, facists, anti-semties, neo-nazis, and homophobes on here why would he want to join us? Or maybe labeling is what liberals do to anybody who disagrees with them.

Hey we're not the ones whose LOCAL WARLORDS (aka the church) say things like "We got these people on the run time to exterminate them." Now who's the hypocrite? Why burden yourself with differing beliefs when you can just kill them and be done with it, right?

TAE, some of your posts are just, well, bizarre. Where is this exterminator stuff coming from or are you drinking the "orange kool-aid" again.

This church "warlord" comment from a guy whose party calls Jackson and Sharpton "Reverend". That made me laugh.

I haven't had orange kool-aid in quite awhile, but I think I remember it being really disappointing. The best kool-aid is, and always will be, tropical.

The "exterminator" thing was just an exaggeration on what one of you loyal Republicans posted that they heard in church. Someone's priest or pastor told them something to the effect of "Now we got them on the run, don't stop now".

LionPride: for the 20th time, I am not a Democrat, never have been a Democrat, and never will be one. Haven't you already heard? I'm a communist and a fascist and a terrorist and a homosexual. That's the labels, right? Anyone non-Republican is clearly a member of the USSR, a Nazi sympathizer, has sex with the same gender, and are planning to blow up the Lincoln Memorial with the help of all the Muslims in America, who are, by the way, all terrorist cells waiting for their phone call from Satan himself to wage war on God's America. I apologize for my crazy ways. I'd tell ya I had scientific evidence, supported by thousands of doctors who graduated from thousands of respectable medical schools, to prove that I was born this way, but you wouldn't believe me anyways. You know who knows more than doctors and scientists? People who wrote the Bible 2000 years ago. Go ask your priest or your Republican senator / governor / president, cause they'll tell you all about it.

Oh that's right, you're just the one that tells me that my kids aren't allowed to say a prayer when they graduate, before a sporting event, or say "under God" when reciting the pledge. Your the one that tells me believing in God is a waste of my time.

Please, find a post where I called you, or anyone on this board, "communist and a fascist and a terrorist and a homosexual" just because they were a non-Republican. Get it straight pal.

And please, lay out the scientific evidence that gays were born that way. Just because a couple of scientists say so, doesn't mean they can prove it. I will always believe that lifestyle is a choice. That's my right to believe that and you'll never change it. And while you're researching my posts, find me one where I have been hateful to gays. You'll find some where I state that I disagree with their lifestyle and don't like it thrown in my face (TV or in public), but I don't believe you'll find any where I have been hostile to them.

I am starting to wonder if Southpaw and Lionpride are married, maybe they just date. Either way they make for one heck of a conservative duo.

You don't need scientific proof to know that homosexuality is not something people choose. First of all, why would a person "choose" to be gay? What do they get from it? They get chastised, belittled, often beat up and made to feel unwanted in the very town they grew up. Gays are ostracized in most parts of the country. So again, why would anyone choose that?

Secondly, do we really have control over who we are attracted to? When a straight guy sees Cindy Crawford and Roseanne Barr walking down the street, which one is he going to look at? We certainly choose who are friends are and who we marry, but our hormones seem to choose who we are attracted to.

How do you think boys and girls who grow up in Christian households feel that as they get older they find themselves attracted to the same sex? I don't think you can tell them that it's a choice on their part.

Runner we had this same discussion awhile back. No need rehash the again.
Its a choice period. There is nothing out there nor will there be in the future to prove otherwise.
