so God did create it? we were taught that down syndrome is basically a mistake in the reproduction process where the offspring has an extra chromosome. God's perfect isn't he? how can he make a mistake?

I suggest you watch the south park episode where Timmy and Jimmy join the Crips, it clearly states in there that Jimmy was created with a deformity because his parents used to make fun of the crippled kids when they were younger.

or you could look in the Bible.... John 9:1-3

"1As he went along, he saw a man blind from birth. 2His disciples asked him, "Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?"

3"Neither this man nor his parents sinned," said Jesus, "but this happened so that the work of God might be displayed in his life."

it's the will of God... he has the greater purpose

Well, as long as God thinks little kids deserve to have down's syndrome, I guess there's nothing wrong with that.

and the hurricane that hit New Orleans all the flooding is because of all the sinning that is done in that city... it's not because they built the city below sea level (like idiots) and a hurricane hit there by chance... God punishes the wicked and makes children have down syndrome for them to have greater purpose, so they're actually the privileged ones. Makes perfect sense to me TAE...what aren't you getting here?

Nah, Pat Robertson was right. Katrina struck because Ellen Degeneres is from there and she's a sinner. Its her fault. I think we should all donate more money to Pat Robertson.

Isn't he the guy that tried to say that Mother Theresa wasn't a saint because she didn't have her own tax shelter?
