Westmont played a much better game.... When Westmont plays good, they really play good. They play Richland next Wednesday....going to be a great game!

westmont played decent got a cheap goal of a penalty match really was 2-0

Shots -- NB 18; FM 11. Corner kicks -- NB 1; FM 5. Saves -- NB 9 ; FM 12.

I showed up late to the game. It was already 1-0 NB at some point in the first half. I thought FM controlled possesion till halftime. Second half was even until NB scored off a corner kick. Now that I look at the stats from P.O. NB had more than one corner (may have been even). FM had poor defensive coverage in their box on free kicks, throw ins, and corners. Could have been b/c two starting senior defenders were out with injuries? Don't know, first game i've been to this season. and i don't miss the 'kick and run' scene. FM gave up after second goal. NB almost had a 3rd. someone drilled a bullet off the crossbar from about the 18. Keeper didn't get his hands up till ball was back out at the 18.

Extremely exciting game to watch! Westmont scored 2 brilliant goals! Richlands goal came off of a very questionable PK. The game was tied at the end of regulation but Westmont scored off an amazing corner kick about 5 minutes into OT.
