Something to get Moldy's Blood boiling

As a closet PSU fan, I will say that Pitt has had a tough go of things lately, with having 4 coaches in a short amount of time. I think at least 4 of the 5 players that recently left Pitt were recruited by Todd Graham. It's tough when you are 18, make a decision about your future, and then a monkey wrench is thrown into the works. This is somewhat different compared to our players who left Penn State AFTER the sanctions. THEY were the selfish players. You know, those that wanted to go to bowl games, challenge for the Big Ten title, hope to win the National Championship. And I don't think Pitt's attendance was a factor in them staying or leaving. Our recruits under BO'B were definitely LURED into staying BECAUSE of attendance. How shallow is this? Guess you get a BIG HEAD when you play in front of a lot of people. And, of course, BO'B and his players are realizing that there are NOT 100,000 fans at every home game. Can he still use this as a selling point?? So please don't be so hard on our enemy. The are doing their best.

It's too bad about our coaches son. Didn't realize he had medical problems. Makes you wonder why BO'B spent all that time in a bus caravan, instead of being home with him. That caravan was certainly optional. He DIDN'T have to do it. Of course, with our attendance down at Beaver Stadium, I guess somebody had to so SOMETHING to give it a boost. But let's PLEASE not use his son as a crutch for sympathy toward his coaching. Yes, I (as a closet PSU fan) still think BO'B is a shyster. Let's not confuse his private life with his coaching life. After all, Al Capone attended church every Sunday, but look at the things HE did. Business is business, no matter WHAT a person's family life is like.

Nets77: Sorry I asked who ranks recruiting 9 months before LOI day. What I really meant was, what a$$hole pays attention to them that far ahead. And beastmodejackoff, where've you been, man? While you were gone, did you notice I'm coming out of the closet as a PSU fan? Hey did anyone hear Jay Paterno's interview on CBS Sports the other day. When asked about BO'B's season and record, he said that the Big Ten was down this past year. I wondered why the Big Ten did so poorly this bowl season. Of course, two teams were suspended from bowl appearances by the NCAA. But never the less, JayPa must know what he's talking about, right? I mean if you believe him and his mother about Joepa, I'm SURE he knows what he's talking about.

Tell me, has anyone come out with a pre-season college football ranking yet for this upcoming season? How about a college basketball ranking yet for next season. After all, midnight madness is ONLY 6 months away. Wouldn't THAT be just as ridiculous as ranking college football recruiting WAY before LOI day? Way before any of these current high school juniors will play a down as a senior? Sure, knock yourself out talking about recruits going to certain teams, but to COMPARE college team recruiting at this point and time is ridiculous. And you guys who follow this type of thing think I need a life??????
