I don't know what you are getting at here. There are only six active players in the NHL who have above a point per game over the whole span of their career (Crosby, selanne, spezza, Jagr, malkin, and ovechkin) so for you to say that he has less than a point per game like its a wild thing only hurts your cause. 6 points is more than a good amount, I bet scoring goals and padding his stats is the last thing on his mind. They are winning, he is worried about doing everything in his power to make that happen. If you truly watched last night and do not think that then I agree with these guys on the fact that you have no idea what you are talking about.konjo78 wrote:6 points in 8 games? Btw, Washington State does not have the best junior program in the country, in fact they are not even close. They fall behind many including Minnesota, Michigan, Wisconsin, Massachusettes, Pennsylvania and New York. Texas actually has more traffic from hockey coming out of their state than Washington, all thanks to a guy named Mike Modano.

Washington state does not have good players but the western hockey league is considered to be the 3rd best junior league in north America behind OHL and the CHL.... Spokane chiefs and Portland timberhawks produce more Nhl players than other junior hockey teams America, finding the article on this. Are they American born players? No their mostly Canadian but the western hockey league is a top 3 junior league in north America.
And no players don't average 1 point per game in their career but in the playoffs the best players do. If Chicago wins the cup this year it'll be 3 cups in 5 year, who was the last team to have that many. Cups in such a short span? None since the lockout in 2004

Well in that case there are even less players who average above a point per game (Crosby, malkin, giroux, St. Louis and Ovechkin), neither Kane nor Toews are on that list.

Amazing pass but the finish is the thing neither time was able to do yet! Very good shot from Crosby... That may be the game winning goal honestly. Besides the brassard line the rest of the rangers are starting to look tired offensively

The rangers inability to score on a power play has officially morphed into an inability to score at all. The pens played very good defense and new York had their chances but if you can't score a goal you're just destined to lose.

Does Rob Scuderi drive anyone else crazy? Every pass he makes is at the feet of the receiver, he seems to get trapped on extended shifts multiple times a game, he plays with little physicality, and brings no offense at all to the table. I think Bortozzo has performed as well as can be expected with playing beside him. When Orpik is healthy, I hope they keep Bortz in the lineup and scratch scuds.
