Re: Christian McCaffrey
Renewing his thread with the news that Jake Butt tore his ACL in Friday's bowl game. Was it worth it? He was a projected first round pick.

Re: Christian McCaffrey
If he would've played in the bowl game he may have went top 5!!!
Another epic swing and a miss by our local genius, Konjo. Do you ever get tired of missing so badly on your proclamations?

Re: Christian McCaffrey
I totally forgot either player didn't participate in the bowl games. I guess the two respective teams did as well.

Jake Butt however wasn't selected in the first round. Probably glad he played in that bowl game.

"It's just shocking, the GMs should have selected him anyways knowing that he played in the game while others didn't."theoneandonly wrote:Jake Butt however wasn't selected in the first round. Probably glad he played in that bowl game.
Like I said, regardless of what was said, it all comes down to what was already proven on the field. I believe someone here said McCaffery "wasn't on the radar because he skipped the bowl game", and he went #8 overall. At the end of the day, skipping a bowl game MAY cost you some spots, tearing your acl WILL cost you some spots.
